Over 30 years ago while in the throes of grief a very special lady came into my life, I truly believe gifted to me by Spirit. That lady is June, Minister June Hughes SNU, to me my second mother. Through all these years June has continued to guide me both spiritually & along the rollercoaster that is life.
Through the decades she has shared her extensive knowledge with me, instilled in me the responsibility that comes with service to Spirit & the joy that leading a spiritual life can bring. The understanding that it is a far deeper experience than simply the message/communication.
Yesterday we got to spend some precious time together, including a spot of lunch & a mooch around the local garden centre. June has dedicated so much of her time to spiritual matters, service as a Minister to & for the Spiritualists National Union which included many hours helping within prisons. Friends with many of the pioneers of Spiritualism, witnessed all forms of mediumship & physical mediumship at its best, has travelled widely home & overseas as a medium & as a healer - the list is immense.
Yesterday’s conversations returned to her time working in Iceland, giving demonstrations of mediumship & assisting in some earth healing. While travelling in the USA, again demonstrating mediumship, she was invited by both the Lakota Sioux & Cherokee Nations to visit them, several hours were spent in sweat lodges & deep conversation.
I of course left with love in my heart, a mind full of more fascinating tales & a renewed desire to step further into my power. If you haven’t as yet found your ‘June’ I hope you do 💫💖
