🌿✨ A wonderful day at SJH with the lovely children from Chaplefield Nursery!

There was plenty of joy, play, and learning as our residents enjoyed a fun Nature talk with the little ones. Such special moments shared between generations 💚

We also sent the Nursery home with some of our juicy home-grown tomatoes to enjoy with their lunch – yum! 🍅😊

We recently took a trip to Redwings Horse Sanctuary in Aylsham after one of our residents at St John’s House wished to visit — and what a beautiful day it was!

From meeting the horses and donkeys to enjoying a hot drink and some delicious locally sourced Norfolk ice cream, it truly was a day to remember. ❤️

A Lovely Morning at John Lewis & Partners Norwich!

Our SJH residents had a fantastic time shopping at John Lewis this week! From browsing the beautiful departments to enjoying coffee and cake in the restaurant, it was a morning well spent.

St John’s House had an incredible time celebrating Pride in Norwich! 🎉

We kicked off the day with a delicious brunch at the Theatre Royal—amazing food, fantastic drag performances, and even better company 💃🥂

The energy was joyful and real, and the parade down Theatre Street was a burst of colour, self-expression, and pure magic. 🌟🏳️‍🌈

🌟 Connecting with Our Local Community! 🌟

St John’s House had a fantastic time at the Forum Norwich, engaging with our local community — and we even got to step inside the amazing Virtual Dementia Tour Bus 🧠🚌 What an eye-opening experience!

We also connected with the brilliant teams from Homestead and Age UK, who shared the incredible work they’re doing to support people across Norwich. 💛

We’re especially excited to support Age UK’s Age Friendly Norwich initiative and get involved in their upcoming events! Community partnerships like these are so important, and we look forward to supporting future fundraising together. 🙌

We had a fantastic time sharing cookery tips and getting hands-on in the kitchen at our Oak Tree Inn. Together, we baked some of our favourite chocolate cookies — made with love for our friends and family. 💛
