🎉 2026, here we come! 🎉

A wonderful time was had at SJH celebrating the coming New Year! Residents, families, and friends joined staff for a lively celebration with musician Chris, and together they truly rocked the house. Residents danced joyfully and held hands for Auld Lang Syne, making it a day to remember!

She enjoyed her favourite birthday cake made by our in-house chef, along with thoughtful gifts from St John’s House, family, and friends. ‘Were on our way to the Panto finally!....O no we’re not… O yes, we are!"
The excitement for our journey to the wonderful ‘Theatre Royal Norwich’ had just begun! We were not disappointed the Panto was ‘Cinderella’ which was full of joy, laughter and the most fantastic atmosphere ever!
All the performers were great said our residents, and we just couldn’t stop laughing, certainly a day St John’s House won’t forget!!
A big extra Thank You to all at Norwich Theatre Royal for your laughter and kindness especially Joe Tracini (Buttons) and Georgia May Foote (Cinderella) for taking the time to have some photos with us – True stars- Merry Christmas .

The Amazing Norwich City Concert Band

Christmas truly arrived at SJH during our recent concert with the Norwich City Concert Band. Our guests were delighted as 22 incredible musicians—who had already spent the morning performing at Norwich train station in support of charity—came straight to SJH to play for us.

The band treated everyone to a wonderful programme of Christmas melodies alongside some much-loved favourites, creating a warm, festive atmosphere that lifted spirits and filled the room with joy.

A huge thank you to every member of the band for sharing your time and talent with us. It was a truly heart-warming pre-Christmas experience.

Family Time at SJH 🎄✨

Christmas came early on Sunday at St John’s House! Festive jumpers, twinkling sparkles, and plenty of smiles filled our home as families and friends joined us for a very special pre-Christmas lunch. It was a wonderful opportunity to spend extra quality time together during this magical time of year.

Our guests shared so many lovely words about the day, praising our amazing staff who worked together as one team to create truly special moments for everyone. Laughter, joy, and togetherness were felt throughout the house.
