MEET THE 20/20 GIPPING RC TEAM …Chloe Ford

Hi!! My names Chloe (14) and I have qualified my 6yo ISH - Cavans Flame, for both the 70cm showjumping and Prelim Dressage finals. Now 6yo I have been slowly producing Chester over the last two years enjoying a variety of disciplines, thought jumping is definitely our favourite!! I have only recently joined Gipping and we are really excited for our first ride at BRC Nat Champs

Hello! My name is Brooke (16) taking my 17 year old New Forest pony, Woody to Nat Champs.
We are competing in the 70cm showjumping and junior dressage at the NAF 5* BRC championships.
Our aim for the rest of 2025 is to start trying to qualify for the BRC winter 2026 championships, while starting to try some hunter trails.

Hey I’m Jess (17) and have qualified my ex racer Highway Robbery for the BD Prelim 2 team. I have had Robbie for 4 years and we have built a strong partnership, found a love for dressage and gone from success to success!! I have also qualified Cheeky Boi (Joey) for the 70 and 80cm showjumping finals and am looking forward to his first time at Nat Champs

MEET THE 20/20 GIPPING RC TEAM… Harriet Sparkes

Hi I'm Harriet and I'm 12. I have been riding for 4 years and have my pony club C test. My pony Romeo is a 9yo traditional cob who I've had for 2 years. We like to do lots of different things including dressage, showing, show jumping and x-country. He's been described as 'wild and wooly' and 'turbo cob' but we have loads of fun together shaking his pom poms! We are representing the club in both showjumping and dressage.

A very positive and much needed step for the equine industry

Just a quick update. Due to the major underworld issue in the equestrian industry that is abuse, sexual abuse, coercive control, domestic violence, intimidation, threatening young girls not to speak out for fear of never working in the industry again. I want you all to know that EQUISS UK (Equestrian Industries Safeguarding & Standards UK) is now registered and will be unveiled very soon. We will have a helpline manned by qualified staff & will be looking to help everyone that makes contact. Either to report an incident or tell your story. You are no longer alone.
Why am I doing this? Because I cannot unsee what I know is going on. Because I’ve got 2 young daughters in the sport. Because I’ve got so many friends with children being abused in jobs as riders, grooms, farriers and more. The problem is huge. It’s remained covered up for decades but no longer. Safeguarding in the equestrian industry is going to be front and central to every business, yard & centre and we need to take a stance on this vile behaviour. To sit down and do nothing is not an option. Our board of trustees are being appointed and include survivors of abuse, International athletes, Safeguarding & human rights experts. If you wish to tell your story or get involved then your voice will be heard.

Congratulations to member Darcy Wright. What a super achievement!

Fabulous results for our Ladies team who have won the British Horseball Association league ladies division again - having won it every year since 2019🤙🤩 They have secured their place at the FIHB - Fédération Internationale de Horseball Champions League being held in Belgium in October🇧🇪

They had 2 wins and a draw in their competitive matches this year with a largely a new team including 2 players playing for first time in ladies.

We are incredibly proud of their achievements and determination to continue to strive to be the best!

We offer our sincere condolences to Jayne, Bernard’s connections and the the team. A loss of a legend

It is with the deepest sadness imaginable to inform of ‘Twinshock Warrior’ ( Bernard) passing today.

I struggle to find the words but we would like to thank him for the years of joy he gave to so many around him, an incredibly special horse to so many.
