This Saturday, we had our Headline event, hosted by the brilliant Fitzmaurice Park parkrun.

Happily, the rain stayed away, and 191 runners braved the chilly conditions to complete the course. The event also saw 26 volunteers help to ensure that the event could go ahead.

Team Thorpewood were in attendance, with several volunteers and runners from the staff, and friends and family of the staff.

These brilliant events happen every Saturday morning, with the run starting at 9AM. So why not come down to the next one to join a wonderful, inclusive community?

Thank you again to the team at Fitzmaurice Park parkrun for hosting.

2025 has been a year of continuing the positive strides we have made, improving the service we provide to our patients, and making a constructive impact in the community.

This year saw the long-awaited re-opening of our branch site at Dussindale, increasing capacity and access, which has been well received by our patients. We also partnered with Fitzmaurice Parkrun, encouraging staff and patients alike to attend this brilliant community event to stay active. We are, therefore, very excited to be Headlining this event on Saturday 10th January 2026. Finally, we have sponsored the U13s Dussindale and Hellesdon football team for the 25/26 season, again promoting physical activity in the community.

We want to continue with our positive and community focussed approach as we move into 2026, whilst also ensuring we continue to improve our service, influenced by the feedback we receive.

Everyone at Thorpewood Medical Group would like to wish you all a Happy and Healthy New Year.

The Partners & Management Team.
