Today our wonderful Evelyn offered to give a hand with the laundry, we delivered everyone’s clean and ironed clothes back to their rooms for them.
Evelyn loves to get involved in the day to day chores.
Doing these tasks are a wonderful way of supporting a persons mental and physical wellbeing, it allows them to use a focused task to support their cognitive skills, feel useful, keep boredom at bay and also promotes them to stay active.

Tuesdays are a favourite of ours here at St Marys as we have the wonderful children visit us through our link with Friend in Deed. We've been so lucky to see some wonderful relationships form and have lots of fun making memories with our young friends.

Today we wanted to say big good luck to our original Little Visitor Benjamin as in the coming weeks he will be making the next step into big school, although we'll miss seeing him every week we know he's going to have so much fun and make lot's of friends just like he has here!

We have space for more children and their families to join us each Tuesday creating intergenerational bonds so please do head to their website to book in if you'd like to come visit us.

We have been enjoying our wellness sessions with ayush wellness.
Last week we focused on our hands which we found hard but the residents thought it was a breeze! Lots of concentration here and lots of smiles after because of how well they accomplished the sequences. Well done all ✨🩷

We've had a lovely morning doing some potato printing for National Potato Day today. 🥔

We painted the shapes and letters that had been pre cut into the potatoes and then used the potatoes as stamps to create some lovely patterns and art works.🎨🖌️

And to top it all off we had a yummy Cottage Pie for lunch with a beautifully creamy mashed potato topping.😋

This afternoon we have the wonderful Jo coming to play a mini piano 🎹 concert for us, another great day at St Marys 💖

This was our Abba tribute but we have a slight change of plans! We have a fantastic singer 11-12 and a quiz in the afternoon with a prize! See you there ..🎤

Throwback to May in our first picture when we planted our sunflowers seeds... fast forward to now when our tallest one is over 7.5 ft tall!!!! We can't wait to see them flower. 🌻
