Especially at the beginning we can assume that going to see a therapist is overwhelming.
There's so much stuff to work through, we assume we will have to confront all our feelings, behaviours and memories in one go OR that we have to talk through everything to get to the meaning and understanding.in order to transform our lives.
It can feel like standing in a woodland looking for the one bit of light that will help us finally see how to 'do it'.
What if I said?, 'Let's start in the light and look out from there.'
