- Coil insertion and removal (coils can be used for contraception, HRT and to manage heavy or painful periods)

📢Update following the outbreak of meningococcal disease (MenB) in Kent.

Children born after 1 May 2015 who are fully vaccinated will have received the MenB vaccine as part of the NHS schedule.

The Department of Health and Social Care (DHSC) makes decisions on vaccination programmes following careful consideration of independent expert advice from the Joint Committee on Vaccination and Immunisation (JCVI). The JCVI does not currently recommend a routine MenB booster vaccination for adolescents and young adults. The JCVI routinely reviews new evidence as it emerges and UKHSA will be advising that the JCVI considers this most recent outbreak to confirm their latest advice.

In line with the above information, the Practice will not be offering any vaccinations outside of the recommended schedule.

Spring 2026 Vaccination Campaign

We will be offering two vaccinations during this campaign:
- COVID-19
- Respiratory Syncytial Virus (RSV)

We will shortly be inviting eligible patients for these vaccinations. PLEASE DO NOT CONTACT THE SURGERY UNTIL YOU HAVE RECEIVED AN INVITATION. We encourage patients, where possible, to use the self-book link included in their text invite, as this is quicker than calling the surgery. We will have a dedicated vaccination line available between 10.30am-3.30pm every day.

COVID-19 vaccination eligibility:
- Adults aged 75 years and over campaign (born on or before 30/06/1951).
- Residents in a care home for older adults.
- Immunosuppressed individuals aged 6 months and over (as defined in guidelines).

Patients eligible for BOTH vaccines include patients who have not already had an RSV vaccine and are either:
- Aged 75 or over
- A resident in a care home for older adults
