This alert is issued by UK Health Security Agency (UKHSA) to support health and social care services in England.

⌛️ Valid: Wed 9th July, 10am → Tue 15th July, 10am
🌡️ Hot weather is expected across:
East Midlands, West Midlands, East of England, London, South East and South West.

🏥 Why does it matter?
While most of us can enjoy the sunshine, significant impacts are possible for health and care services.
Those most at risk include:
‣ People aged 65 and over
‣ Children under 5 years old
‣ Anyone with underlying health conditions

💛 So what can we do?
We all know someone who fits one of these groups: a neighbour, a grandparent, a young family.
Take a moment to check in with them. Offer a fan, a cool drink or just a friendly chat.
Sometimes a little action can make a big difference.
