We were disappointed to see the recent statement from the Trump administration linking paracetamol use in pregnancy to autism.

This claim is not supported by robust evidence and risks causing unnecessary worry for autistic people, their families, and the wider public.

As proud members of the Autism Alliance, we stand alongside fellow organisations across the UK in supporting the joint statement issued today.

Here in East Anglia, our focus remains on ensuring autistic people and their families feel seen, safe, and supported every day.

We now call on governments to follow high-quality evidence that helps autistic people to thrive, rather than revisiting disproven theories.

Good morning everybody! How do you know it’s a Monday morning? That’s right, a complete Microsoft outage (agggh!).

Our entire system is currently down. So please bear with us as there will be a delay in getting back to you. You might also find it difficult to get through to us on the phone system. Our wonderful PA, Patience, is doing everything she can to respond to access and provide some level of service in the interim. Our apologies in advance.

The Cardiff University Bond Solon (CUBS) Civil Expert Witness Certificate verifies that this professional has received training in all the key areas of expert witness work and have been assessed and have demonstrated that they possess the core and requisite competencies to work compliantly and effectively as an expert witness in the civil law justice system. Having achieved the CUBS Certificate, means they can:

Produce Part 35 compliant expert witness reports that are clearly expressed and insulated against cross-examination.

Give effective oral evidence and can withstand rigorous cross-examination.

Comply with the duties and responsibilities as an expert witness.

Comply with the law and procedure that applies to their work as an expert witness in civil proceedings.
