Local tree surgery company based near the city of Norwich serving the whole of East Anglia.

We are a company based near the city of Norwich which is in the county of Norfolk but offer our services to the whole of East Anglia. Regardless of the size or complexiety of the task, we have the knowledge, experience, man power and the tools to accomplish your ambitions. Whether it be a simple hedge trim, small or large stump or stumps, a tree surgery or a complete site clearance, we will take it on and aim to provide a high quality service at a competitive price within the time frame agreed. We offer our services to everyone from residential, commercial, construction and anyone else that require a professional service within East Anglia. As a company we have public liability insurance, relevant and industry recognised qualifications including NPTC, CSCS, Rolo, Full waste carriers licence and emergency first aid to insure peace of mind to our clients and rest assured that all waste removed from site is responsibly disposed of or reused where possible.

Unfortunately had to remove a very unwell hedge this week Thorpe End Village Norwich, Norfolk

The usual checks / consideration for wildlife and once happy that it was uninhabited by birds, removal began and now the area is ready for re greening.

I’m still the king of taking before pictures and forgetting the after ones.
So here’s a review from a hedge job and some before and after of a summer house removal.

Before and after pictures of a stump removal job Norwich, Norfolk

The client had a badly failing hedge of mixed varieties and wanted to replace it with a new fence.

The hedge was removed and the resulting stumps were completely ground out.
The site was then cleared up and prepped for Jules Cutter R&M Paving Services to come and install the fence 🫡

A belated happy new year to all past and future clients 🙏

2024 was a busy one and we hope to continue that in 2025 and be more active on this page 🫡

Here are a few shots of one of my favourite jobs of last year at

A large tree has split out and fallen into the river.
With the help of Mark Andrew C***s and his beast of a winch, we made short work of this poor tree.

We took every precaution to insure minimal disturbance to the surrounding environment including:
Severing the remaining holding hinge at the base of the tree and using the winch to remove the tree from the river.
This reduced the chances of debris etc from getting into the river.
We installed a weighted catch net in the river itself in case of stray debris.
Used barriers where possible when cutting and grinding the stump to insure debris did not enter the river.

Once removed, the stump was brought down to ground level only, to avoid any damage to the bank as stipulated by the local river authority.

A section of a clients hedge in Hoxne had been overtaken by Ivy and parts had died and began to rot.

The section has been removed, the stumps ground and a temporary fence erected, leaving a lip at the bottom to be dug in when the planting happens to try and deter anything getting underneath.

The new hedging will be delivered at the weekend ready to be planted in the newly prepared area.

It’s been a busy year so far and shows no signs of relenting!

A full hedge removal and stump removal in preparation for Justin Hunt at J•H property and landscaping to erect a fence at a property Thorpe End Village Norwich, Norfolk
A few nuisance stumps for KT Lake Paving at a property Wymondham, Norfolk
Plus various other jobs for clients old and new 🙂

The after video of the hedge works at Holiday Inn, Ipswich Rd, Norwich.
I’m genuinely looking forward to all future works at the Holiday Inn.
The staff were amazing and their coffe was delicious 🙂

A little video of the before of a neglected hedge at the Holiday Inn, Ipswich Rd, Norwich.
The new manager felt the hedge needed to be reduced and cut back from the car park / fence to be more aesthetically pleasing, to give the houses running along the length of it their light back.
This cut was to get it back into a better shape /height to achieve the set parameters by the client, plus set it up to thicken in preparation for its next cut.
Dead wood was removed and selective cuts made to encourage the hedges future health and regeneration.

The good news (for me) was that Bay is an easy grind so didn’t take as long as you would think 🙂
