Thank you to all for attending the launch of the Dementia Hub today, and to Alice McDonald and the Chairman of the Council for opening the hub. It was humbling to see relatives, friends and professionals who attended, to support us in our new initiative to help the local community. I must say a huge thankyou to my dedicated team, who fully supported the management team to launch this new service.

Redlands will be opening a new Dementia Care Hub this Friday, 2pm-3pm. A new support service for the local community. If you you would like to come along please do. This new initiative is being provided for carers who are looking after loved ones living with a Dementia.

On the 12th of September Redlands House is launching a new Community Dementia Hub. A new initiative to support carers looking after loved ones living with a Dementia in the local community and to support relatives and friends of Redlands house. Alice Macdonald local MP will open this new service and we are inviting you to attend the launch. It will start at 2pm and the community hub after the launch will be held on the last Wednesday of every month at 2pm, offering support and guidance in a relaxed environment.

Redlands House Residential Care Home is ideally situated close to local amenities in Hellesdon. There is a variety of shops just across the road at the Dixon shopping centre and a pub 200 yards away - all just 3 miles from the centre of Norwich. Redlands House has recently undergone expansion and refurbishment to provide a new wing in 2018 including rooms with ensuite shower facilities, and a new lounge and conservatory. The new rooms are light and spacious, with specially designed colour and furnishing schemes. Redlands House provide a homely and welcoming service, treating people as individuals and encouraging personalisation of rooms and maintenance of outside connections and activities. Alongside this, the home offers high-quality support to maintain independence for those needing residential and dementia care, in a home from home environment. The home provides a full programme of activities with dedicated staff to offer something for everyone and encourage a lively and stimulating environment, or quiet contemplation if that suits the resident better. Long and short term residents and respite care welcome and the home have recently installed a new lift and remodelled the sun lounge and garden spaces. Pets are accepted by arrangement.
