For a 1-1 activity this morning, this lovely gentleman was supported to go out in the local community. He enjoyed a tour of the shops, won on the tombola and our local homeless support charity shop very kindly gave him some flowers. The trip out was finished off by enjoying some treats in the local cafe. ❤️

“You said we did”. On our last relatives meeting, it was discussed that it would be nice, to have somewhere visitors can make their own beverages. We now have a designated kitchenette for visitors. Please see a staff member for the code.

On Thursday the 14th of May, Redlands house team will be wearing green to support mental health awareness week. We will be hosting a coffee morning for all relatives and staff at 11am. Any donations for this charity would be most welcomed. Every one at some point in their life may struggle and donations will help the charity spread awareness and put towards services that are so very much needed. ♥️

Redlands House Residential Care Home is ideally situated close to local amenities in Hellesdon. There is a variety of shops just across the road at the Dixon shopping centre and a pub 200 yards away - all just 3 miles from the centre of Norwich. Redlands House has recently undergone expansion and refurbishment to provide a new wing in 2018 including rooms with ensuite shower facilities, and a new lounge and conservatory. The new rooms are light and spacious, with specially designed colour and furnishing schemes. Redlands House provide a homely and welcoming service, treating people as individuals and encouraging personalisation of rooms and maintenance of outside connections and activities. Alongside this, the home offers high-quality support to maintain independence for those needing residential and dementia care, in a home from home environment. The home provides a full programme of activities with dedicated staff to offer something for everyone and encourage a lively and stimulating environment, or quiet contemplation if that suits the resident better. Long and short term residents and respite care welcome and the home have recently installed a new lift and remodelled the sun lounge and garden spaces. Pets are accepted by arrangement.
