Hey lovely people 👋

I’m Em (short for Emmeline) — 46, a proud Gen X gal and total 90s teen who still knows every word to every Spice Girls songs 😆🎶but was very much into Sleeper, Cranberries, Snoop & Cyprus hill!! 💜🤟🏼

I’ve always been a bit of a free spirit — school wasn’t really my jam (hello, dyslexia 👋) but creativity? That’s where I came alive. Art college, a degree in photography, and a backpacking adventure around the world with my best friend all shaped who I am today 🌍

Somewhere along the way, I fell head over heels for coffee, cake, and community ☕🍰 — opening my first business, Cherryleaf, where my love for people truly grew. Fast forward through motherhood (after a long fertility journey ❤️), a few cake clubs, storytelling jobs, and a whole lot of soul searching… and here I am — a yoga teacher and doula helping women find calm, confidence, and joy in birth 🌿

I’m also a proud wifey and mama to one amazing boy — the light of my world and my biggest teacher in love and patience 💕

I believe breath heals ✨
I believe in women 💪
I believe every birth matters 🤍
I definitely believe in cake 🍰

Now, my days are filled with movement, mindful moments, mamas, and the occasional brownie (because balance, right? 😉).

🌿 Pregnancy Yoga & Relaxation for Mamas-to-Be 🤍

Take a deep breath, slow down, and connect with your growing baby in a calm and supportive space 💫

Join me each week for pregnancy yoga and relaxation, blending gentle movement, breathwork, mindfulness and hypnobirthing-inspired tools to help you feel strong, centred and confident as you prepare for birth.

Led by me, Em – a doula and pregnancy yoga teacher, each class weaves in learning about pregnancy, labour and birth, so you can deepen your understanding of your body and the incredible journey ahead.

✨ Monday evenings – Ash Tree Yurt, Norwich.
✨ Wednesday evenings – Willow Centre, Cringleford

Each session is a chance to release tension, feel empowered, and surround yourself with like-minded mums-to-be in a warm, welcoming community. We always finish with deep relaxation – time just for you to rest, restore, and reconnect. 🕯️

A gentle stroll at Blickling with a beautiful cuddle of Norfolk doulas 💜🍂

After holding space for so many others, it’s nourishing to slow down, breathe, and simply be together. Conversations flowed easily — stories, laughter, reflections — all grounding reminders of why we do this work.

✨“What if birth didn’t need to be managed — only trusted?”✨

So often, pregnancy care focuses on monitoring, measuring, and managing — but what if we paused to remember that birth is a natural, physiological process, not a medical event?

As a doula, I see again and again how powerful it can be when a woman feels safe, calm, and undisturbed in her environment. When oxytocin flows freely, the body often knows exactly what to do — contractions strengthen, the cervix opens, and the rhythm of birth unfolds in its own time.

Of course, medical support is there when it’s needed, and we’re so lucky to have that. But for most healthy pregnancies, trust, relaxation, and connection can make all the difference.

✨ Birth thrives on safety, not stress.
✨ On calm, not control.
✨ On trust, not tension.

If you’re preparing for birth, spend time learning about your body’s natural process — how hormones, breath, and environment all work together. Knowledge really is power… especially when it’s paired with calm confidence.

🎃👻 It’s almost Halloween time! 👻🎃

Our next Baby & Muma Yoga block begins on Tuesday 14th October – a chance to enjoy nourishing postnatal yoga, baby yoga and massage, plus plenty of bonding time with your little one through touch, movement and a sprinkle of playfulness. ✨

Classes are calm, baby-led and supportive – you follow your own needs as you gently navigate this new journey into parenthood. 💕

This October block includes a Halloween Special 🎃 where we’ll add a crafty twist, enjoy some treats, and (if you’d like) get into the spirit by dressing up in something Halloweeny! Of course, there’ll be yoga, fun and lots of connection along the way.
