For multiple sclerosis awareness week, we wanted to share a story that exemplifies the power of the human spirit:
One of our staff members participates in a weekly running group. Last Thursday, a new member joined. He wasn't concerned with speed, but he wanted to prove something to himself. He then revealed he has multiple sclerosis, a condition affecting the nervous system. This run wasn't just a run; it was a personal victory, his first run in years and his way of reclaiming his power over his condition.
