The family of Margaret Patterson would like to say Thank you 🙏🏼

Through your kindness and generosity, £1,009.00 has been raised for Hearing Dogs for Deaf People in Memory of Margaret, through donations — a true reflection of the love she shared so freely.

Margaret had a rare and beautiful gift… she made everyone feel like family.
To many, she was simply Mrs P — and if you knew her by that name, chances are… you were one of hers.

Her door was always open, her home always full, and her heart somehow big enough for everyone who walked through it.

In 2002, she was awarded Neighbour of the Year — a title that captured who she was every single day, long before and long after the award itself.

Thank you for honouring Margaret in such a meaningful way.

Yesterday, we sadly said farewell to a much loved character in our community.

When Stuart learned that he was unwell……. he made a remarkable decision. - He chose to shape the moment himself. That was an extraordinary thoughtful and practical gift. He wrote his own Eulogy and chose the music and readings for what he referred to as his “leaving do”.

Stuart - thank you for the years of laughter, fun, and interesting conversations. We loved your quizzes and race nights especially.

The chapel was full.

The funeral service for Tom will take place on:

• Wednesday 7th January at 11.30am
• St Laurence Church, Brundall, NR13 5LZ

Following the service, everyone is warmly invited to join us for a beer in Tom’s honour.
