As we come to the end of another year, we’d like to take a moment to thank everyone who has trusted Gedge & Sons Funeral Directors during the past year.

New Year’s Eve can bring many different emotions — reflection, remembrance, hope, and sometimes quiet moments of sadness. However you’re feeling this evening, please know you’re not alone.

It’s a privilege to serve our community and to support families with care, dignity, and compassion during some of life’s most meaningful moments. As we look ahead to the new year, our commitment remains the same: to be here when you need us, offering guidance, understanding, and personal care.

Wishing you a peaceful New Year’s Eve and a gentle start to the year ahead.

*THANK YOU!* 🙏🏼

We’re truly grateful to our families who recently shared such thoughtful feedback about their experience with us. At a time of loss and grief, we believe the personal touch matters more than ever — taking the time to listen, to understand, and to ensure every detail reflects the life being remembered.

It is always our priority to support families with care, compassion and reassurance throughout the process, and we’re honoured to be trusted during such an important and emotional time. Thank you for allowing us to support you and for taking the time to share your kind words.

At this time of year, we know Christmas can feel very different for those who are grieving. While the world feels busy and bright, moments of quiet reflection may sit alongside the memories of loved ones who are deeply missed.

If this season feels heavy, please know you are not alone. We hope you find moments of peace, comfort, and gentle remembrance in whatever way feels right for you.

Throughout the Christmas period, Gedge & Sons remain open and available, offering support, guidance, and care whenever it is needed.

From our family to yours, we wish you a peaceful and comforting Christmas.
