Good evening all.
This morning, it was time for seated zumba with Sarah Chow Fitness & Toning .
We had some new routines to learn, I was all over the place but the ladies smashed it 💪. I will post a short video shortly.
After lunch , we had a singalong. We sang a real variety of songs from Shine Jesus Shine to Sweet Caroline. It was very therapeutic and made us all feel good.
I squeezed another manicure and a deep clean of the snail tank in lunchtime.
Hannah has been beavering away with getting next weeks activity planner and the newsletter ready to publish.
I am on annual leave next week, Kim may post some of the activities later on in the week.

Good evening all.
This morning the residents enjoyed a service with Ben who was back from his travels . They enjoyed hearing about the trip before the Holy Communion service.
Lee held a Gentlemens club elsewhere, the chaps enjoyed a beer and some 'man talk.
After lunch, Lee played think words with the main group.
Hannah and I spent some 1-1 time with some residents in their rooms,and I squeezed in a manicure for one lady too.

Good evening all.
Monday -we had seated exercise, followed by a walk in the garden in the morning .
Word wheel games followed after lunch.
Tuesday morning we made some beautiful clear glue suncatchers, I pressed some flowers from our patio last summer and we used some of these plus lots of glitter! ✨️
These should be dry and ready to hang by the weekend.
After lunch, it was time for beetledrive which is very popular at the moment.
This morning, we popped to Ranworth church cafe. We had a wonderful warm greeting from the volunteers, and the residents enjoyed homemade treats with tea and coffee. There was also time to shop some of the locally made goods on sale.
Our lovely Frances even bumped into her cousin 🥰
This afternoon, Lee kept the residents entertained with a quiz. Elsewhere I had a small group that were knitting and crocheting in a quiet area. Hannah also spent 1-1 time with some residents.

Good evening all.
Thursday morning, we enjoyed our knit and natter session with Marilyn from the local knitting group.
In the afternoon we were due to have a singalong but it was so nice outside we spent the afternoon in the garden and on the patio.
This morning, the residents were offered coaster decorating or decoupage. They all chose the coasters as they didn't wish to get sticky fingers!
After lunch of fish and chips, we had a musical afternoon with some musical bingo 🎵🎶.
Hannah is working this weekend and has some activities planned .

Good evening all.
This morning, we had an Art workshop where we created some dandelion clocks with paint and cotton buds.
After lunch, we were honoured to have Helen and Jackie from the Lowestoft flower club visit us to give a wonderful demonstration.
They demonstrated numerous stunning floral arrangements during the session, and very kindly donated them all to the residents and the home afterwards 🥰.
I have to say my absolute favourite was the dahlia arrangement as it reminded me of my late Father's who was immensely proud of his dahlia patch.

Good evening.
Today, our new minibus driver Lee took a group of us to Gorleston seafront.
We started off up the top of the cliff for a drink ,then we persuaded the group to venture down to the espanade for a picture lunch provided by Head chef Fiona 😋.
We watched the world go by , and made some doggy friends 🧡
Lee rang great Yarmouth borough council and got special permission to bring the bus onto the espanade to save us struggling back up the top- top marks for Lee!
We then went in search of the ice cream van and 99's were enjoyed by all.
It was a perfect day and we really enjoyed a change of scenery and some fresh air.

Hello friends.
A little update from the last few days.
Friday was our lovely Frances birthday, she celebrated with a beautiful cake. Yesterday her family had a little party at home for her 🥰.
Joe from Gfitness was also in Friday, and then the group played beetledrive.
Saturday they enjoyed carpet bowls and garden walks.
Sunday we did wordsearches in the morning and then enjoyed pimms on the patio,accompanied by some music from abba.
Monday was the move it or lose it exercise dvd, followed by word wheels games in the afternoon.

Good afternoon all.
Wednesday, a group of us enjoyed a day out at Thrigby wildlife park near Great Yarmouth.
The residents all had a carer to assist them around the park for the day in a wheelchair as it's a little bumpy and has a few slopes to manovere
We saw all the animals and birds and learned lots of interesting facts about them .
Head chef Fiona did us a wonderful picnic 😊 which was enjoyed al fresco.
Afterwards we went around the rest of the park and then hit the gift shop for some souvenirs!
A great day was had by all.
Thank you to our family member ,and all the staff that gave up their time to enable us to take so many residents out.
Thursday morning, Reverend Neville gave the residents a service.
In the afternoon, we had a quiz session as this had been requested by a few again for this week. We will always try and incorporate your loved ones favourite or preferred activities in the weekly programme where possible.

Good evening all.
Yesterday was spent exercising to music in the morning, and word wheel games in the afternoon.
This Morning, the ladies created some lavender masterpieces from paint and cotton buds. These came out really well and we have decided to try a dandelion clock next time.
This afternoon, we were honoured to have a young lady that works at Broadacres to give a performance on the piano.
Rhia Dixie is self taught from the Internet 🤯 and absolutely fabulous....we will follow her career with interest.
She played for an hour and we are all so very proud of her for her amazing achievement ❤️
Tomorrow, a group of us are off to Thrigby wildlife park on an outing. We hope the weather is good to us!🐅🐆🐖🐒
