Good evening all.
This morning, we had an Art workshop where the residents chose a pre drawn picture to paint in watercolours.
We had a great turnout, I will put the latest artwork up on the art board shortly.
This afternoon, we played some games starting with pictionary then some riddles and a few quiz questions. We watched them all on the tv with subtitles so all the group could be included in the session.

Good evening all.
This morning a group of us visited Lathams of Potter Heigham for a little shopping. There was so much to see!
Some of us made some purchases and had a good browse, while others preferred to head straight to the coffee shop!
Meanwhile, Hannah held a games club at Broadacres for those not wishing to attend.
This afternoon, Lee and Hannah spent 1-1 time with some residents while I hosted a singalong.

Good evening all.
This morning, Hannah held a shaving foam art workshop for the residents. They created some beautiful tie dye paint effect shapes by dipping them in shaving foam drizzled with paints. It was a little messy so I got to join in and help too.
While they were eating lunch, I turned their beautiful artwork into a welcome sign which we will frame and put in the reception to welcome visitors and guests to our home 🥰.
Florence celebrated her 90th birthday today with her family , there was also a beautiful cake from Fiona and every member of staff on shift to sing her "happy birthday ".
This afternoon, we had our weekly quiz.
Joyce was our winner with 10 correct answers. We also had a 5 person tie for second place with a score of 9!
Tomorrow morning, Lee and I will be taking a group for some shopping at Lathams of Potter Heigham.

Good evening all.
This morning started with an exercise session set to some music led by myself. I had a great turnout but sadly was too busy doing the exercises for the group to copy and didn't manage any photos.
This afternoon, another great turnout for the favourite word wheel games. The collective managed an amazing 6/6 excellent scores this week 👏
I have added a photo from Lee's Saturday bowls group also.
I also posted a letter for a resident on my way home and took a picture of the fabulous post box topper in Spixworth made by an anonymous person.

Good evening all.
Thursday morning, the residents were treated to a morning service with our friend Reverend Neville. We had a great turnout and they all agreed it was a wonderful service. Margaret of course accompanied the hymns on her piano 🎹
In the afternoon we played some ' name that tune ' with songs from the 50s and 60s.
This morning, Sarah Chow Fitness & Toning made her fortnightly visit for some seated Zumba.
We had a couple of new faces join the group for the fun too.
After lunch, we enjoyed some games of Prize Bingo....I reckon I make quite a good Bingo caller- I certainly don't need a microphone!🤭
Hurricane Lee will be entertaining the troops tomorrow, and Hannah will be on Activities Sunday.

Hello all.
Wednesday, Hannah held a games club for the residents in the morning. I didn't get any takers for the jigsaw puzzling upstairs so did some manicures.
After lunch we were treated to a performance from Rachel Mcdonald Flautist and Pianist. The residents were all so relaxed listening to the beautiful music.
Meanwhile, Lee spent the day with Pat in Norwich. She has been wanting to go shopping and M & S for ages so off they went. The pair apparently had all the staff and customers in fits of laughter in the fitting rooms as Lee supported Pat with a running commentary throughout the trying on session 🤣
They finally emerged laden with bags of shopping and popped into Marmalades in the Royal arcade for refreshments 😁.
Lee will be taking more residents out for 1-1 outings in the near future.

Good evening all.
Saturday, Jack Valentine (Jessica) payed all the residents a visit with a cute Valentine's card and a sweet treat from her. They also all received an adorable crochet love heart plant in a pot from Broadacres on the breakfast trays.🥰
Monday ,we were busy with keep fit, word wheels and lots of manicures 💅
This morning, Hannah led the group in a string painting art workshop- didn't they do a fabulous job.
After lunch, I had a huge turnout for a general knowledge quiz 😁

Good evening all.
This morning, a small group of us went to Roys of Wroxham for a little shopping trip.
Sadly the lift wasn't working while we were there so we crossed over the road.
We found lots of bargains 'over the road' and had a cheeky coffee.
The ladies made a few purchases, including the fetching pink cardigan Jan is modelling in one of the pictures...I of course stocked up on some wool !🤭
After lunch, the group had a choice of a 'speed dating event ' or a romantic movie....sadly the movie won with
only a brave couple of souls up for a "date"
