After looking through the 1950’s scrapbook we looked at some very old coins dating back to 1900. Residents were keen to talk about going to sweet shops with a penny, earning a florine or half a crown. We tried to find coins with the dates we were born on " This penny is from 1939, i can't believe it's as old as me"

We are so lucky to have Sid & His owner visit us regularly. Sid always brings joy to the residents. Sid's owner always takes time to chat with every resident. We are truly grateful 🐕

A little bit of our week 🙂 getting crafty making calendars, bingo fun winning some very snazzy socks! , making sandwiches for everyone " I haven't made this many sandwiches since making them for the cricket team!" 😀 and a very competitive game of scrabble with staff 😀
