ย โฃHey guys, hope you are all keeping well and safe.โฃ
The past few months ,we all have been feeling the blues , whether it is because of the short winter days or just the current challenging times due to Covid. โฃ
๐๐๐ก๐ข๐ฌ ๐ข๐ฌ ๐ฌ๐จ๐ฆ๐๐ญ๐ก๐ข๐ง๐ ๐ฐ๐ก๐๐ญ ๐ ๐ก๐๐ฏ๐ ๐๐๐๐ง ๐ญ๐ซ๐ฒ๐ข๐ง๐ ๐ญ๐จ ๐ฉ๐ซ๐๐๐ญ๐ข๐ฌ๐ ๐๐ง๐ ๐ก๐จ๐ฉ๐ ๐ข๐ญ ๐ก๐๐ฅ๐ฉ๐ฌ ๐ฒ๐จ๐ฎ ๐ญ๐จ๐จ :โฃ
ย ๐: ๐๐ง๐ฉ๐ฅ๐ฎ๐ : ย Or you may call it โDigital Detoxโ .Easier said than done ,eh ??But trust me having tried it, it is so worth itโฆTry turning off notifications or putting your phone in airplane mode a few hours every day.โฃ
ย ๐: ๐๐ซ๐๐๐ญ๐ข๐ฌ๐ ๐ฆ๐ข๐ง๐๐๐ฎ๐ฅ๐ง๐๐ฌ๐ฌ:Practising ย mindfulness teaches us different way to relate to and be aware of ย our thoughts ,feelings and emotions.โฃ
ย ๐:๐๐จ๐ฏ๐: The power of moving cannot be underestimated.Exercise gets those endorphins kick in helping to boost your mood.The more consistently you do this ,better positive cycle gets going.โฃ
ย ๐: ๐๐ซ๐๐๐ญ๐ข๐ ๐ ๐ซ๐๐ญ๐ข๐ญ๐ฎ๐๐: Have you heard of โGreatful people sleep betterโ? There are several studies reporting that Gratitude not only help build mental resilience but in long term imparts benefits to your physical health as well.โฃ
All it takes is to say โThank youโ .โฃ
ย ๐:๐๐ก๐ข๐ง๐ค ๐๐ฒ๐๐ซ๐๐ญ๐ข๐จ๐ง:Studies have shown the negative impact of dehydration on cognitive performance and mood. Make a conscious effort into keeping yourself hydrated by keeping a water bottle within your reach during the day and limiting caffeinated drinks as caffeine can have dehydrating effect.โฃ
ย ๐: ๐๐๐ญ ๐ฐ๐๐ฅ๐ฅ: Plan your weekly menu to help you have more varied diet .Include at least 30plant based varieties including nuts and seeds to help your gut microbiome.โฃ
ย ๐: ๐๐ฅ๐๐๐ฉ:Proper sleep habits ;that includes putting your screens away at least 30min to an hr prior to your bed time.Try getting 7 hrs of sleep a night, at least .โฃ
ย ๐: ๐๐ข๐ญ๐๐ฆ๐ข๐ง ๐:During the winter months, do not forget to to take your 10micrograms Vitamin D supplement .
๐๐:๐๐ ๐ค๐ข๐ง๐: Most importantly , be kind to yourself .โฃ
