Aches and pains during pregnancy are, sadly, normalised. Of course you are experiencing physical change, but pain and discomforts can be addressed and you shouldn’t be fobbed off and told to put up with it.
Movement, exercise and mobility can help considerably, but one area often forgotten and neglected is how the growth of your breasts could be contributing to the aches and pains being experienced.
Your breasts grow during pregnancy by approximately 500g each, so of course they will play a role in creating shifts and changes to posture, positioning and movement.
If you’re putting up with aches and pains, when was the last time you got your chest and bra measured and properly fitted?
If you’d like to learn about the changes you go through during pregnancy, and attend a weekly pregnancy movement class, then please check out my bump yoga+ classes. The next three weekly block start on 29 January.
