Badgers Wood is a 37 bed residential care home situated in the beautiful village of Drayton, Norwich. Please call us on 01603 867247 to make an appointment.

We take pride in offering outstanding residential care for the elderly, delivered by highly trained professionals. We offer both permanent and respite care, in a beautifully peaceful countryside setting. We believe in encouraging freedom of choice and offering residents as much independence as possible while treating them with respect, privacy, and dignity. Friends and family are welcome at any time of day, with hot drinks and snacks available from our lovely cafe. The Badgers Wood kitchen team create varied nutritious menus using seasonal produce, that cater for all tastes and dietary requirements. Residents can also enjoy some pampering and relaxation in our on-site hair and nail salons. There is plenty going on at Badgers Wood Care Home, with a dedicated Social Care Lead hosting and co-ordinating a full program of events and entertainment. As well as arts and crafts, movie mornings, and where possible, trips out to the local area, we often hold intergenerational activities. These friendly sessions invite local children and their families to join residents for cupcake decorating, junk modelling, and a sports day in the summer. We would be happy to show you around or discuss any aspect of elderly care with you.

Fish and chip days are the best days! Our lovely residents asked for fish and chips from the chippy so that’s exactly what they got. Thoroughly enjoyed by both residents (and staff 😉) 🐠🐟

What an energetic fun musical afternoon we had with new entertainer Kristina Bee.....🎵🎶 so many songs to sing-a-long too which brought back some fabulous memories 💕💕 we look forward to seeing you again soon 🎶💕😊
