Well yesterday was vile wasn’t it.

I am on an absolute mission at the moment to tidy up the front garden. Little and often is finally making an impact!

We are mid staining the fences
Have tidied the pots up under the Xmas tree
W**ded the drive (apart from the flowering plants which need transplanting into the beds)
W**ded the lavender troughs
Replenished bark under Xmas & maple trees
Raked the gravel
Tidied all husbands stuff away from the front of the garage
Stained the bench yesterday & touched up some of Callan’s fence painting

It doesn’t feel like much …

Next up:
Trim the lavender & propagate
Clear the beds - plants need shifting & pruning
Move loads of gravel from the left, to the right of the drive (from the garden side to the car side!)
W**d under the hedge & replenish the bark
Get the trailer behind the gate (I may have to sell the chicken hut that’s there before this … which may take a while as it’s a 4 man & trailer job to move)!

and this feels like absolute tons 😆😆

I have really enjoyed ignoring the edging on Amelie’s pink blanket, and have been filling all the driving (passenger!) time recently making this lovely colourful chunky blanket.

I’m also making one in many shades of red for Flynn (who has also demanded a blue blanket, in the vein of the one I’ve made for Ame … as it’s his (current!) favourite colour). Next up is another one like the pictures, but in blues & pinks as we don’t know the flavour of its recipient 😍
I fancied actually finishing something for a change hence a few smaller projects 😂😂
