What an absolute blast we had this week with our incredible housekeepers, Theresa and Mel! 🎉🥳🎊

They put on the most wonderful entertainment that had everyone on their feet—we danced, sang karaoke and those fun pom-poms added the perfect spark to the whole afternoon! 🎤✨🎀💃🕺

From big grins to even bigger laughs, joy was absolutely everywhere! 😄😆🥰 Theresa and Mel really know how to bring the fun and seeing our residents so happy, engaged and full of energy was the best feeling ever. 💖🌟💫

A huge, huge thank you to these 2 superstars for going above and beyond to make our week so special. You’re absolute legends! 🌟❤️👏🙌

The residents made the most of the beautiful flowers 💐 today. Many red roses 🌹 from valentines day. Many fabulous vases of flowers around Oakwood House due to the work of the most amazing residents and eith the help of the wonderful Wendy our (events coordinator)..

❤️ Love was in the air everywhere we looked this Valentine’s Day! ❤️

Our home was filled with warm hugs, as residents and staff filled every corner with joy, laughter and so much affection. Whether it was sharing a story over a cup of coffee, dancing or just grinning from ear to ear while spending time together, every moment was a reminder that we are one big, happy family.

We have been flipping pancakes today which the residents enjoyed, 🥞 it was also Chinese New year so our chef Andrew cooked Chinese food for lunch which went down well with the residents...🥣🍜🥢🈲️🈚️🈶️

Today our residents made pizzas with Sally our (Activities Coordinator) and prepared Oakwood House with Valentine's day decorations ready for Saturdays...Valentine's bingo ! And lots of other things.. ❤️ 😍 💕

We've had a lovely afternoon of pampering with our resident aromatherapist Lisa Penman Complementary Therapy, the smells of Lavender, Rose and Bergomot are amazing and everyone clearly enjoyed the session 🌹💐

🍰 Coffee, Cake & Cheerful tunes at Oakwood House Nursing Home! ☕️

We had a wonderful afternoon today filled with sweet treats and even sweeter company! A huge thank you to all the relatives who joined us—it’s always so lovely to see our home full of laughter and familiar faces. ❤️

The highlight of the day was the lovely Andrea, whose singing truly brightened up the afternoon and got everyone’s toes tapping! 🎤✨ Our residents and staff couldn’t resist hitting the dance floor, and it was heart-melting to see relatives joining in on the fun too. 💃🕺

🎂✨ WHAT AN AMAZING WEEK AT OAKWOOD HOUSE! ✨🎂

We’ve had so much to celebrate – one of our wonderful residents turned 102 YEARS OLD this week! 🥳🥳 The room was filled with balloons 🎈, homemade cake 🍰, and so much love as we sang happy birthday together. 🎵❤️

But that’s not all… The King himself came to visit! 🕺💙 Elvis dropped by to serenade everyone, singing heartfelt songs which put a smile on everyone's face. 😁 🎤👑

It was a day we’ll never forget, filled with laughter, music and precious moments with our incredible community. 🌟🤝
