We had a lovely afternoon with Lisa Penman Complementary Therapy our aromatherapist who created a very relaxed atmosphere.

Hazy Summer days with butterflies, roses and sunflowers were the theme of the day.

We had a lovely afternoon tasting different cheeses - Cheddar was the most popular...we also had wine (non-alcoholic of course)!

Thank you to everyone who attended our Family Day on Saturday!

We danced and sang along to our singer, Andrea who brightened the afternoon with her singing and colourful outfit.

Residents and families tucked into mocktails, BBQ and cooled down with ice cream which they queued up to get from the ice cream van.

There were plenty of fun games played, like hook a duck, tombola, where great prizes were won and we even had a bubble machine.

Elvis had entered Oakwood House this week as he entertained our residents with classic tunes, such as A Little Less Conversation, Can't Help Falling in Love and Suspicious Minds.

It was flower arranging morning at Oakwood House!
