I do like to study successful people.

Not to 'copy' them but to appreciate their journey.

Debra Meadon is one such person that holds such admiration.

In an artical about her, she had found old school reports. One noted, when she was five years old, that she was poor at piano.

How many of us have or are, allowing someone else decided what we are capable of.

How many business people and entrepreneurs have similar reports and stories about them and went on to prove the 'experts' wrong.

Its a great reminder that these old stories and beliefs no longer serve us if we are going to carve out the life and success we want.

We need to back ourselves, which is why I bang the drum for self-leadership.

Don't believe in your old stories. You are a whole different person.
