Cavell Court delivers round-the-clock residential and dementia care on a permanent and respite basis. This spacious, purpose-built home is all about enabling residents to continue to enjoy a fantastic quality of life. Every member of the team is dedicated to delivering person-centred care and ensuring residents enjoy each day to the full, whether that’s taking part in activities and outings or helping out with small tasks around the home, from gardening to folding laundry. Life at Cavell Court is all about comfort and luxury, which is why each bedroom is of a high standard, with an en-suite wet room. Residents can also enjoy excellent facilities, such as a contemporary café, cinema and hair salon, as well as lovely grounds.

This morning, our residents started the day with Musical Keys, filling the room with beautiful melodies. The fun carried on into the afternoon with Karaoke, where everyone sang their hearts out and cheered each other on. 🎶

🐾✨ Today we had some very special visitors at the care home! ✨🐾

We welcomed Our Animals World petting zoo, bringing along everything from slithery snakes to the fluffiest little rabbits. 🐍🐇

It was wonderful to see so many smiles, laughter, and even a few brave moments as some of our residents overcame their fears and enjoyed meeting the animals up close. 💛

A huge thank you to Our Animals World for such a heartwarming visit – it truly was loved by all! 🥰

At Cavell Court, we believe every day should be meaningful, engaging, and filled with opportunities to connect.
Our varied weekly programme is designed to nurture wellbeing, encourage creativity, and most importantly, bring joy to our residents.

Here’s a look at what’s planned for this week:

💜 Monday – Namaste Care sessions throughout the home & dedicated one-to-one time with Nadine

🍪 Tuesday – Baking childhood treats in the Goodwin Lounge & “Our Animal World” Petting Zoo in the Coffee Shop

🎨 Wednesday – Arts & Crafts in the Hobby Hive & live entertainment with Adam Harrod

🧩 Thursday – Cogs Club: games, puzzles, music & more, followed by Yoga with Bella and an evening cinema showing

🧶 Friday – Knit & Natter with Fran in the Elizabeth Lounge & Arts & Crafts in the Hobby Hive

🎲 Saturday – Games Morning in the Goodwin Lounge & Chocolate Bingo with Andy

🌼 Sunday – Namaste Care throughout the home & “The Big Quiz” with Andy in the Cinema
