MHA Cromwell House

MHA Cromwell House Cromwell House is a purpose built, fresh, modern, care home offering residential and respite care for 38 residents. All bedrooms have en suite facilities.

Residents are welcome to bring their own furniture to personalise their rooms if they wish. Since 1969, Cromwell House has cared for older people in central Norwich. Our attractive home has 38 en suite bedrooms, landscaped gardens, and a “warm, happy and supportive” atmosphere, as described by the care regulator. Our Activities Co-ordinator organises a range of events around residents’ hobbies and interests, including outings using our minibus. Meanwhile, our Chaplain offers spiritual support however people might require it. We are part of MHA, the national older people’s charity. Birthday Celebrations 🎂

We were grateful to celebrate two more incredible birthdays: 90 and 96 years young! 🥳

Aging so gracefully is truly inspiring. We marked the special day with delicious cake, warm cups of tea, and some energetic rock & roll performed by the amazing Nick Stephenson Music . 🎸🎶

This week we explored the wonderful world of childhood toys and games from years gone by. From well-loved dolls to classic books and treasured playthings, our residents enjoyed sharing memories, stories, and lots of laughter.

Our Christmas Party will be held on Friday 12th December 🥳 and it would be GREAT to see you there!

We have some amazing raffle prizes to win - to include tickets to Norwich Castle, Ten Pin Bowling, Mama D's wine voucher and a £20 voucher at a local florist👏 But we need more! 🙂

Can you help? Do you know anyone who would be willing to donate a fabulous raffle prize? If the answer is yes, then please let us know as soon as you can!

Tickets for our Christmas Raffle will be on sale from 1st December, so please see Lorena or pop along to the office to buy yours.

Yesterday we gathered to honour Remembrance (Armistice) Day with a beautiful afternoon of remembrance and community.

Our friends from Friend in Deed joined us for some lovely paper poppy crafts, their little visitors brought so much joy and creativity! 🌺

We were also treated to a moving bagpipe concert, performed by the brilliant players who kindly volunteered their time to make the day even more special 🎵

This week we enjoyed a calm and creative afternoon making beautiful Spirograph designs. 🌀 With soft music playing, a warm cup of tea in hand, and plenty of colours to choose from, everyone let their imagination flow! 🎶☕🎨
