Cromwell House is a purpose built, fresh, modern, care home offering residential and respite care for 38 residents. All bedrooms have en suite facilities.

Residents are welcome to bring their own furniture to personalise their rooms if they wish. Since 1969, Cromwell House has cared for older people in central Norwich. Our attractive home has 38 en suite bedrooms, landscaped gardens, and a “warm, happy and supportive” atmosphere, as described by the care regulator. Our Activities Co-ordinator organises a range of events around residents’ hobbies and interests, including outings using our minibus. Meanwhile, our Chaplain offers spiritual support however people might require it. We are part of MHA, the national older people’s charity. 🌿 A Special Day at the Plantation Garden 🌸

What a wonderful outing we had today at the beautiful Plantation Garden! It was a joy to see families reunited, sharing laughter and stories in such a peaceful and vibrant setting. 💚

A huge thank you to our amazing staff and volunteers, you made this day so special for everyone involved!

We’re also incredibly grateful to the Plantation Garden team for their warm hospitality, and to Daisy and The Continentals for the lovely concert that added a perfect touch of music to the afternoon. 🎶✨

Days like this remind us of the power of community, connection, and kindness. 💞

🌸 Flower Painting & Birthday Celebration

Our residents had a blast doing flower painting using sponges, a fun and colorful activity that sparked lots of creativity! 🎨🌼

🐾 Special Visitor Alert! 🐾

Yesterday, on Dog Day (August 26th), we had the paw-leasure of welcoming Marley, an adorable Labradoodle and proud great grand-dog of one of our residents! 🐶💕

Marley brought boundless joy, wagging tails, and happy hearts as residents enjoyed an afternoon filled with paws, hands, and plenty of smiles. 🐾👵👴

These simple visits remind us how powerful the connection between people and pets can be 💛

🎶🌸 Summer Sing-Along Fun!

We filled the room with music, movement, and sunshine during our Summer Sing-Along! With beautiful flowers, colourful dancing scarves, and plenty of lovely melodies, the atmosphere was full of joy and laughter.

A huge thank you to our wonderful volunteers who led the singing and brought so much energy and heart to the afternoon. Your voices lifted our spirits and had everyone tapping their toes and humming along. 🎤💐💃

We rolled up our sleeves and got mixing, stirring, and scooping for a good old-fashioned cookie baking session!

From sweet smells to big smiles, everyone had a wonderful time creating delicious treats — and of course, enjoying a few with a cuppa afterward. 😋☕

🎉 A million thanks to everyone who joined us at our party last Saturday, what an amazing day it was! 💃🎊

A special shout-out to our incredible staff and volunteers who kept everything running smoothly at the stalls, and to the kitchen team for the delicious food! 🍽️👏

We're also so grateful to those who kindly donated gifts for our tombola 🎁❤️ And of course, a big bravo to our talented dancers who brought the energy with some fantastic salsa and cumbia steps – you had us all moving! 💃🕺

Last but not least… the piñata was a total hit (literally!) 🎯 – so much fun for everyone.

Today, we had an unannounced visit from the Environmental Health Officer. They attend care homes to conduct inspections and ensure that we adhere to Food Safety Regulations.

We are very pleased and proud to announce that we have, once again, been awarded 5 Stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
