As some of you already know I have taken a nasty blow to the head and have just been released from hospital.
I was open today for explanations but that cannot continue so I will be closed now until Monday Nov 3rd.
Sorry for any inconvenience but I just had a big telling off for trying to look after customers when the important thing is my own recovery.

Dc14 (2004). A lovely Lady came in with this fantastic 14 needing a new motor. She was considering a new machine but you CANNOT buy machines this powerful and well built these days.
Look how worn the crevice attachment is ! It shows how well used this pristine machine is. Buying a newer machine may not get you the results you expect if you already own one of these Gems.

I see this quite often, not usually this bad and this machine was serviced here last year (so of course it was cleaned at last service). Just have a look at the head of your Vacuum, if it’s like this then you are just pushing dirt around your house. This and many more parts/places are always attended to as part of a standard service here at the only proper Vacuum Shop in Norfolk.

This customer tried to do the right thing by using a BAGGED Vacuum for Plaster dust but they didn’t bother with a Bag.. and the filter was not installed correctly. Ladies and Gents, if you insist on using a domestic vac for plaster or brick dust please make sure it doesn’t go through the motor. These days the market is flooded with cheap fake (I’m resisting the temptation to make another comparison) motors which I will not touch so if this happens please bring it in to ME before the damage is permanent.

I have been doing this for years but assumed others were doing the same for their more senior customers but I was mistaken. I add a ‘TriggerCam’ for free to anybody buying my hand held machines which means the user doesn’t have to constantly pull the trigger :)

This is what happens when a Vacuum has never been serviced - lint encapsulates the motor and it can’t breathe, they get too hot and fail ! You MUST have any high performance vacuum serviced otherwise you will either end up wasting money on a replacement or god forbid replace it with a Shark. servicing is not expensive at £50 so there really is no excuse :)
