Clear Space Counselling Hi and welcome to Clear Space Counselling Service. Are you considering if counselling is right for you? Hi, my name is Jennifer and I'm a qualified counsellor.

Deciding to take that step can be a daunting prospect for some, it's a big decision and a commitment too. I am trained in Person Centred Counselling and in Cognitive Behavioural Counselling (CBT)

I am mostly working online or by telephone at present due to travelling around the country but can work with clients face to face on an ad-hoc basis also. My main area of work is centred around anxiety and self esteem issues but is not limited to these areas. If you would like to discuss your thoughts or concerns surrounding counselling and see if it is the right thing for you or if you wish to find out more about how I work, then please give me a call or send an email or message and I will get back to you. I offer a free 20 minute consultation prior to any booking. I look forward to hearing from you and finding the best way forward that's right for you.

Anxiety...
What does that word mean to you? How does it make you feel?
Anxiety can dominate us and dictate how we live our lives. It can range from a general underlying feeling of unease to complete overwhelm, panic and dread. It can prevent us from living and doing the everyday things we need or want to to do. Learning what anxiety is and how to manage it better can be life changing. It doesn't need to be a life sentence.
I am here to work with you and support you in getting back to a life without anxiety.

Have you heard of Hope Street? A charity Peer Support group based in Ormskirk. They offer group sessions of yoga, craft, singing and lots of other fun and interesting things to do whilst supporting people with their mental health.

Group sessions are every Tuesday with classes on other days.

Hugs are very valuable to our wellbeing and make us feel good as they help to regulate our nervous system and bring a feeling of calm and safety along with many other benefits.
This period of isolation has left many people struggling because of the simple lack of human contact.
