Rainbow Hub Rainbow Hub is a charity whose diverse services are brightening the lives of disabled children.

Rainbow Hub promotes independence and achievement for both children and young people, through the philosophy and practice of Conductive Education. This is a holistic educational system using repetitive physical activities incorporating rhythm, song and phrases to help young people with neurological conditions and brain injury carry out simple movements. Conditions include cerebral palsy, Hypoxic Ischemic Encephalopathy (HIE), Williams Syndrome, Moebius Syndrome, Downs Syndrome during the early years and acquired brain injury. It can also benefit individuals who do not have a diagnosis and those with global developmental delay, genetic conditions and other physical disabilities.

We were delighted yesterday to welcome ten wonderful pupils and their teachers from St Peter’s School in Chorley! 🌈

As members of the school’s Equality Group, their visit to Rainbow Hub was especially meaningful. They spent time learning about the needs of our children facing significant additional challenges and joined in with activities across our therapy service, school, and nursery.

We are so grateful to everyone at St Peter’s for their ongoing support and fundraising efforts. We can’t wait for your next visit – and we hope you’re looking forward to it too! 💛

If any other local schools would like to arrange a visit or an assembly, please get in touch to discuss how we can work together. These visits give pupils the chance to learn more about children with additional needs, develop understanding and kindness, and help build inclusive friendships.

We’d love to grow this initiative in 2026!

Our Magical Moments Annual Charity Ball on Saturday was everything we hoped it would be and so much more.
From the moment our guests arrived at Park Hall Hotel and Spa Lancashire, a member of Radisson Individuals,the atmosphere was filled with excitement, sparkle🌟 and joy — and we could not be more grateful to EVERYONE who made it such a special evening❤🌈

This year, we were happy to return to Park Hall, a venue where we hosted our Ball in the past. Since then, it has been beautifully refurbished, and we were truly impressed by the changes. A big thank you to Diane, Antonia, and the whole Park Hall team for their excellent support, both leading up to and during the event.

Our Story

A Brighter Place

Families are right at the heart of Rainbow Hub. Based in Mawdesley, Lancashire, we’re a charity providing therapeutic services for children and young people with physical disabilities as a result of a neurological condition or brain injury.

We are now supporting over 100 families per week, helping children to reach their full potential and gain more independence through fun, hands-on activities, while giving their parents the vital support they deserve.

No other organisation offers such a diverse range of services aimed at improving the physical, social and emotional well-being of children with complex needs, as well as reducing the stress and isolation in their families.
