Rainbow Hub promotes independence and achievement for both children and young people, through the philosophy and practice of Conductive Education. Conditions include cerebral palsy, Hypoxic Ischemic Encephalopathy (HIE), Williams Syndrome, Moebius Syndrome, Downs Syndrome during the early years and acquired brain injury. It can also benefit individuals who do not have a diagnosis and those with global developmental delay, genetic conditions and other physical disabilities.

🚀✨ Blasting our way into Cerebral Palsy Awareness Month! ✨🚀

is dedicated to raising awareness for the 17 million people worldwide living with the most common physical disability in children 💚

To kick off the month, our amazing children at Rainbow Hub have been busy building their very own space rocket together – because there’s no limit to how high they can soar! 💚

Cerebral Palsy Awareness Month is all about celebrating determination, strength, individuality, and the incredible potential within every child.

As we “launch” into this special month, we're proud to share the achievements of our children, the dedication of our families, and the power of working together to help every child reach for the stars 🌟

We’ll be sharing an update later in the month to show the final outcome of our rocket – stay tuned for the big reveal! 🌈🥰

Today at we’ve been celebrating !

Here are some of our school children, dressed as characters from their favourite books, bringing colour, creativity and lots of smiles to the day 🌈 📖 ❤️

Stories hold a special kind of magic. They open the door to imagination, introduce new ideas and allow children to explore wonderful worlds beyond the pages of a book. For many children, a favourite story can become a place of comfort, adventure and discovery 🥰✨

We hope you enjoy these lovely photos of our children bringing their favourite stories to life and celebrating the joy that books can bring.
Please feel free to add your World Book Day photos in the comments 💖

Our Story

A Brighter Place

Families are right at the heart of Rainbow Hub. Based in Mawdesley, Lancashire, we’re a charity providing therapeutic services for children and young people with physical disabilities as a result of a neurological condition or brain injury.

We are now supporting over 100 families per week, helping children to reach their full potential and gain more independence through fun, hands-on activities, while giving their parents the vital support they deserve.

No other organisation offers such a diverse range of services aimed at improving the physical, social and emotional well-being of children with complex needs, as well as reducing the stress and isolation in their families.
