The Hospital opened in 1987 and currently has 28 single rooms and one double room, all with en suite facilities. Please note we will respond to private messages and comments during office hours Monday - Friday. Elsie’s Story Fundraising 2025
This year, Renacres Hospital elected to support Elsie’s Story as our charity of the year. Elsie’s Story was set up
in memory of Elsie Dot Stancombe by her mum in the wake of the devastating Southport attack in July 2024.
Her family founded the charity to honour her kindness, positivity, and generous spirit, and to ensure her
legacy continues to bring light to others.

Throughout 2025, our team at Renacres have supported the charity by hosting a number of fundraising
events and initiatives. Here’s what we achieved together this year:

🩷Hosted an Elsie’s Story Pop‑Up Shop throughout December -£3425.83
🩷Took on the Renacres Run for Elsie’s Story- collectively running the distance of a marathon a day for five days -
