A somatic yin yoga class focused on releasing tension, building inner strength & feeling supported 🤍
Taking a somatic approach to yin yoga, you’ll be guided to sense what’s happening in your body & respond accordingly; adjusting, easing off, or resting whenever needed. There is no fast sequencing, no complex shapes & no expectation to do it perfectly ✨
This practice is relaxed and mostly floor-based, with longer-held poses supported by props. We carefully transition between postures, exploring & allowing the body to soften, rather than forcing beyond our limits.
The emphasis is on building a strong, trusting connection to your body, quietening the nervous system, hydrating connective tissues & cultivating a sense of ease & steadiness that carries into life beyond the mat🧘♀️
Somatic yin yoga is ideal if you’re feeling tired, stressed, stiff, overwhelmed, or simply craving a slower start to your day & a softer end to a busy week 🌿
