Lots of events happening at Cornmill over the festive period including singers from Garstang Lions, a performance from Garstang Ukulele Group, Christmas Markets (raising over £200 for charity!), Christmas Carols, visits to see St. Peter's Christmas Tree Festival, a pantomime performance of Annie by Northeast Producers Ltd as well as raffles and Christmas games for residents and staff. Everyone has really enjoyed getting into the Christmas spirit which is wonderful to see. Plenty more to be enjoyed over the coming days...

Thank you so much to the Christmas Choir from Scorton C of E Primary School who visited residents this afternoon. The music brought a smile to all of our residents and certainly helped spread the Christmas cheer!

A wonderful afternoon celebrating the 80th anniversary of VE day. Thank you to all those who wore fancy dress to make the day so memorable and our kitchen team who prepared a delightful nostalgic buffet and menu for residents to enjoy during the festivities.

Taste testing today for Nutrition & Hydration week .
Tina our amazing activities co-ordinator did some wellbeing guidance on different components of a balanced diet and then a variety of food to be tasted to demonstrate carbohydrate, sugar etc
Another good excuse to eat & drink!

We are celebrating Nutrition & Hydration week . What better way to start and to combine St. Patrick’s Day than to have a Guinness!
We also enjoyed loaded potato skins, balloons, a quiz, singing Irish songs and possibly the odd jig!
Special thanks to our kitchen team and senior carer Abi for the organising a wonderful day. Everyone had a great time.

A wonderful afternoon celebrating Margaret's 35 year work anniversary at Cornmill! As one of our longest serving members of the team Margaret has fulfilled many roles throughout her career and still comes in two mornings a week to keep an eye on things. Her dedication to residents and enthusiasm for the role continue to inspire us all and we thank her most sincerely for all of her efforts. It was lovely to see some familiar faces and thank you to all those who joined us to celebrate the occasion.

A huge congratulations to Tammy who celebrated her incredible 35 year work anniversary at the Cornmill! Tammy originally joined the team when the home had been open for just over a year! A few changes since then, but plenty of familiar faces who came in to celebrate the occasion. A special and most sincere thank you to Tammy for her wonderful care provided to residents over the years and to all those who came to celebrate with us! Thank you also to Chef David for baking a beautiful and delicious cake for us all to enjoy!
