**Important Notice - Opening Times**
The practice will be closed on Thursday 25th December 2025 and will re-open on Monday 29th December 2025

For non-emergency assistance out of hours please telephone 111 who will advise you on how to obtain medical help. Alternatively, you can access NHS 111 online.

The out of hours service is based at Royal Preston Hospital and they will arrange for you to speak with a trained nurse or doctor who can give you advice, issue emergency prescriptions, make an appointment for you to attend the centre or arrange a home visit if necessary. Please note that you will be responsible for providing your own transport should a visit to the centre be required.

You should call 999 for life threatening emergencies.

📢 IMPORTANT NOTICE

We are currently experiencing a major internet outage affecting all practices in Lancashire.

📞 we have one phone working across two sites but please be aware this may be interrupted at some point and please be patient with our call handlers.

🖥️ We have managed to get our clinical team on to the clinical system but not all functionality is working at this time.

If you are eligible for a flu vaccination and you haven’t managed to book your appointment yet the practice are offering a walk in service daily for flu vaccinations. Please turn up between 8am and 6pm Monday to Friday and advise the team you are here for a walk in flu . They will check you are eligible and arrange for one of the team to do it for you. Thank you

This issue has been resolved , it was due to a local power cut. Thank you to the team for dealing with a high number of calls from our Longsands branch and thank you for your understanding.

The reception refurbishment at the Healthcare centre has commenced. We remain OPEN providing ALL services with a temporary entrance located at the front of the building with an accessible ramp outside. We apologise for any inconvenience caused as we improve our premises. We will be installing automatic doors and a new reception desk as part of this project.
