At CHEC, we don’t just treat eyes; we help shape the future of eye care!

We recently welcomed Mahmoud, a brilliant ophthalmology student, for a placement at one of our community hospitals. Even with his experience in large city hospitals, Mahmoud was blown away by the dedication and expert mentorship of our team.

From refining clinical skills to discussing the "why" behind every treatment, our Consultants and Optometrists are passionate about excellence. When you visit CHEC, you’re not just a number - you’re in the hands of specialists who are committed to the highest standards of care right in your local community.

The shift from freezing outdoor temperatures to warm, dry central heating can play havoc with your vision and comfort. This rapid change often leads to dry, itchy, or gritty eyes.

Top tip: Use a humidifier indoors and blink consciously while using screens to help keep your eyes moist.

If you are experiencing persistent eye discomfort or vision changes, our NHS Ophthalmology services are available in your community. Learn more: https://eu1.hubs.ly/H0qM9Dw0
