We’ve got a half-term break this week.
Many Kadampa Buddhists have gathered in the Lake District to take part in the Spring Festival with the wish to seek happiness from the true source of love - engaging in contemplations and meditations to develop a warm heart and feeling of being close to others which protects the mind from feelings that disturb our inner peace, such as jealousy and anger. 💕
☀️
Our weekly classes look at Buddhist Meditation practices, and how they can be used to increase our happiness and to provide meaning and purpose in our life.
💕
They are based on the book ‘The Mirror of Dharma with Additions’ – more details are available here: https://kadampa.org/book/mirror-of-dharma
☀️
The classes are based on 'The Stages of the Path to Enlightenment', or Lamrim in Tibetan, which is a special set of instructions that includes all the essential teachings of Buddha Shakyamuni.
Each one is self-contained and will focus on a different meditation topic each week.
💕
You are most welcome to join us on this beautiful journey into the heart of Kadampa Buddhism.
