Meet the Sacral Chakra.

This is the second chakra running up the body from the Root Chakra.

It is situated near the naval and is associated with the physical area of the reproductive system.

It is associated with the ovaries in women and the te**es in men. It is also the place where we are connected to our mothers through the umbilical cord.

The element of this chakra is water. It is the flow of life.

Imbalance in this chakra can lead to physiological symptoms in the ovaries and te**es. It can also manifest in other parts of life.

As it is the chakra associated with the reproductive system it is linked to creativity, the spark of life and the creative energy of our lives.

Maintaining balance in this chakra can bring about creativity and passion.

This chakra is exactly that. It is the root, base or grounding force in our lives.

When life feels out of balance, or anxiety kicks in then it’s a sure indicator that this chakra is in need of TLC.

As with all chakras, under-active or over-active Root chakra can lead to various symptoms manifesting in the body.

Due to the physical location of the chakra it is associated with bodily eliminations and as such common issues around this area can a manifest.

This chakra is our sense of stability and security. When we feel grounded and secure, we feel safe. When we feel unsteady and uneasy then anxiety comes to reinforce the feeling of being out of control.

This time of year is a perfect reminder that in order to grow we need to sometimes let things go.

The trees do not hold on to their leaves. If they did we would not experience the beauty of their blossom.

The leaves turn and fall but the tree is not dead. It is just resting and conserving strength to be able to produce the blossom in the coming months.

Now is a time for you to conserve your energy so that you have the reserves needed to flourish when the appropriate environmental circumstances arise.

Reiki can be a beautiful way of gently releasing the things which no longer need your nourishment.

Reiki allows you to find a peace in letting go safe in the knowledge that you will bloom again more vibrant than before.

Many of us struggle in modern society with so much mental ill health. Whether it be a formal diagnosis or simply more general anxiety, the pressures and expectations today are often too heavy a burden to bear.

Card pull for today’s Harvest Festival.

River ~ Movement

This card seems appropriate for today’s weather. The rain is coming hard and fast. But as the card suggests there is always movement. Nothing in the universe is stagnant. Energy is always in a constant state of flux.

Trying to stem the tide is a futile exercise. You cannot stop the river from flowing to the sea. Water always finds a way.

Allow yourself to be open to where the river wants to take you and surrender to the flow.

The river flows by the path of least resistance. It doesn’t flow upstream. Only down. Effortless.
