Residents decorated a jam jar in the art of Decoupage.Used ripped up patterned napkin and glue. The jam jars were left to dry. Once dried they need to be finished off with ribbon etc and will be used for flower arranging soon to go on the tables in the dining room.

Today’s ‘crafternoon’ was all about Spring blossom and in particular the cherry blossom.

We had some family members join us for the craft session which was lovely. We finished off with a Spring related quiz.

Today residents have been sowing some sunflowers🌻 sweet peas , nasturtium ,and pea 🫛 seeds. The wait is on now to see if they will grow or not. Fingers crossed🤞

Today one of our residents did a Show and Tell about the paintings and drawings she had done. We all had a go at drawing a daffodil with instruction from the resident.

Residents and staff had a wonderful afternoon looking at fashion items from different decades. Trying on hats gloves and jewellery.

Residents made Bird🐦Treats for the garden using peanut butter, old paper roll and bird seed. We put them outside and watched the birds feed from them . There was even a cheeky squirrel 🐿️ that was eating the sunflower seeds of them
