We wish to inform you of a temporary alteration to our prescription collection service at Broadway Pharmacy.

Unfortunately, our 24/7 prescription collection machine is presently out of order. We recognise the convenience this service offers and sincerely apologise for any inconvenience this may cause you.

During this period, we kindly request that you collect your prescriptions directly from Broadway Pharmacy with Cure Clinics during our regular business hours. Our dedicated team will be on hand to assist you promptly and efficiently with your medication requirements.

We appreciate your understanding and patience as we work to resolve the issue with our prescription collection machine. Thank you for your continued support of Broadway Pharmacy with Cure Clinics.

We'll share an update on all our social media channels once the 24/7 prescription machine is back to its normal operation. We look forward to serving you soon.

Well, that was an early alarm…

4:30am to be exact. And it wasn't just me: Lisa, Catherine, and Jonathan all crawled out of bed in the dark this morning because Good Morning Britain called asking if we'd help them tell an important story.

So, there we were at Broadway Pharmacy at 6am, cameras rolling, Catherine and Lisa making their acting debuts in the background, and me trying to sound coherent across three live segments at 6am, 7am, and 8am.

Then Channel 5 News got in touch. They're filming this evening. (Catch us on the evening news if you fancy seeing round two.)

But here's why we said yes to all of it:

The North-West is in the grip of a serious flu wave. Last week alone, 403 people per day were admitted to hospital with flu in our region. That's 36% higher than the week before. And we're only just getting started with winter.

Flu isn't just a bad cold. For older people, pregnant women, young children, and anyone with long-term health conditions, it can be dangerous. Even life-threatening.

The good news? There's something simple you can do about it.
