Weekly COVID19 hospital admission rates remain low but have increased slightly.

Eligible groups can now book their vaccination appointments.

If you have symptoms of flu or COVID-19 such as a high temperature, cough and feeling tired and achy, try to limit your contact with others, especially those who are vulnerable. If you have symptoms and need to leave the house, our advice remains that you should consider wearing a face covering. Washing hands regularly and using and disposing of tissues in bins can reduce the spread of respiratory illness.

📣 We regret to inform you that our Broadway Surgery will be closed from 12:30pm on 10th September 2025, due to unforeseen circumstances.

We will resume normal operations and reopen at 6:30pm the same evening. 👍

On Friday 25th July 2025, North Preston Medical Practice came together with NHS Property Services, Deputy Mayor of Preston Councillor Nweeda Khan and the NHS Lancashire and South Cumbria Integrated Care Board to celebrate the opening of our refurbished Ingol Health Centre. 🎉

In addition to a full refurbishment of existing clinical rooms, the project has added seven new clinical rooms to increase capacity for GP services and convert the site into a Net Zero facility.

New forms of insulation have been installed (cavity wall and loft insulation), the move to electric heating was made and energy-efficient upgrades such as LED lighting, double glazed windows and solar PV panels were put into place.

These measures will ensure long-term cost savings and reduced carbon emissions. 🍃

To ensure we manage appointments in a safe and efficient manner, we kindly request that you telephone the surgery instead of visiting in person to request a GP appointment.

Our reception team will assess your request over the phone or online and guide you to the most suitable service.

While it may seem quicker to drop by, reaching out to us by phone/online first enables us to prioritise clinical needs and enhance patient flow effectively.
