Dropped off food bank donations at the Christian Community Larder at the back of st Aidens church in bamber bridge this morning. My wonderful members do this every January bring in sealed food they got over the Christmas time and need it out of the house to get back on track with losing weight. Through out the Yr I pop in every few wks with tins donated too. Christian Community Larder

💌 To all my past members, it may come as a surprise but I can only contact if you’ve attended in the past 12 months due to data protection laws 😮. Over the past couple of weeks we’ve welcomed back members who I haven’t seen since Covid 😷 closed us down and a members who haven't been to slimming World for 20 yrs.

Started my training again for the Manchester half marathon (my 1st one) in oct 4th. Was supposed to do it last yr but after being in hospital, I needed to build my strength up and get fitter. I'm not running it on my own anymore. 3 of my running buddies have signed up so very happy. Get stronger and fitter and keep losing weight with slimming World. I'm running it for 8 charities. It was 7 and already raised £50 each for them but added a extra charity. St Catherine's hospice who looked after my mum 15 yrs ago and means loads to lots of members and friends and family, Stroke UK for memory of my dad 16 yrs ago and for one of my members. Derian house & siblings, Liverpool heart & chest foundation for one of my members, Blackpool cardiac centre who saved my husband life when he had a heart attack last yr. Mind uk in memory of one of my member who isn't with us anymore. Brain tumer UK for one of my members who's having treatment, & breast cancer uk, my mum had it and a couple of members are having treatment at the moment.
Over my 10 yrs as a consultant we have raised lots of money in our charity boxes in group for many different charities. My members are amazing. 💜
