All GP appointment requests now need to go through our new process. Here’s how to contact us:

💻 Submit a request online – quick and easy
📞 Call reception – our team can help fill in the form for you

You can also use this system for admin tasks like:
âś… Fit notes
âś… Test results
âś… Letters or referral follow-ups
âś… One-off medication requests

From Monday 8th September, Fishergate Hill Surgery is moving to a new appointment system.

This means:
✅ You’ll tell us about your problem first (online or by phone with reception).
âś… A GP will review your request and decide the best way to help you.
✅ You’ll be booked with the right person — whether that’s a GP, nurse, physio, or another member of our team.

This helps us make sure everyone gets the most appropriate care, in the right timeframe.

📣 Just Over a Week to Go – Our New Appointment System Launches 8th September. We’re getting ready to introduce a new way to access GP appointments at Fishergate Hill Surgery.

🗓️ From Monday 8th September, all GP appointment requests will go through our new Total Triage system.

This means you won’t be able to book GP appointments in advance. Instead, you’ll submit a request online or via reception. A clinician will review your request and offer the most appropriate care for you.

📍 REMEMBER: Reception can’t book appointments for the week starting 8th September right now – they’ll all go through the new system.

From Monday 8th September, we’re moving to a Total Triage system.
That means:
➡️ No more direct booking of GP appointments
➡️ Every request will be reviewed first by a clinician
➡️ We’ll offer the most appropriate care for your needs

🏥 This applies to both medical and admin requests, including:

âś…Letters
âś…Test results
âś…Referral queries

🚨 Important Update from Fishergate Hill Surgery 🚨

From Monday 8th September, we’re changing how you access GP appointments. We’re introducing a 'Total Triage' system – this means all GP appointment requests will need to be reviewed first by a clinician. You’ll no longer be able to book a GP appointment directly.

âś… Request help online via our website or the NHS App
âś… Speak to our team who can complete a request form with you

We’ll review your needs and respond with the right care option.

đź“… Please note: Reception will NOT be able to pre-book GP appointments for the week starting 8th September onwards.
