⚠️ Why DNAs matter:
When patients don’t attend their booked appointments, it means another patient misses out on the chance to be seen. With 95 missed appointments last month, that’s the equivalent of over 26 hours of clinical time lost – time that could have been used to support families in need.

👉 If you can’t make an appointment, please let us know as soon as possible so we can offer it to someone else. Every appointment counts!

🌟 Thank you to all our patients for your support, and to our staff for their continued dedication.

Together, we’re keeping community healthy. 💙

🤰 Important Information for Pregnant Patients – Vaccinations Available at the Medical Centre

If you are pregnant, there are several vaccines recommended to help protect both you and your baby. These are available here at the surgery:

🔹 RSV Vaccine – offered from 28 weeks pregnant
• Protects your new-born against Respiratory Syncytial Virus (RSV), which can cause serious breathing problems in babies.
• Given during pregnancy so protection is passed to your baby before birth.

🔹 Whooping Cough (Pertussis) Vaccine – offered after 20-week scan
• Protects your baby in the first few months of life, before they are old enough to be vaccinated themselves.
• Whooping cough can be very serious in young babies, so this is highly recommended.

🔹 Flu Vaccine
• Protects you from flu, which can be more severe during pregnancy.
• To be eligible, you must be due on or after 1st September 2025 and still be pregnant at the time of vaccination.
• We have a dedicated clinic for Flu Vaccines on Thursday 25th September for pregnant Ladies only.

✨ Why these vaccines are important:
• They are safe to have during pregnancy.
• They protect both mum and baby.
• Protection starts before your baby is born, giving them the best start.

Covid is not being offered to Pregnant ladies this year.

📞 If you are pregnant and would like to book, please contact the surgery and our team will be happy to arrange your appointment.
