We have provided services for the elderly since 1978.

💙 Promoting Independence in Care Homes 💙

Just because someone moves into a care home, it doesn’t mean they should lose their independence. Every resident still has their own routines, preferences, and ways of doing things that matter.

Whether it’s choosing their own meals, deciding what time they get up, or simply being supported to do the things they can do for themselves — independence is so important for dignity, confidence, and overall wellbeing.

A care home isn’t about taking away independence, it’s about offering the right support so people can live their lives as fully as possible. 🌟

📚✨ Exciting News from Milbanke HFE! ✨📚

We’re creating a brand new Library & Activity Room for our wonderful residents—a cosy, welcoming space for reading, relaxing, and enjoying meaningful activities together. 💛

To help bring this vision to life, we’re kindly asking for donations of the following items:

📖 Gently used or new books (all genres welcome)
🪑 Bookshelves and bookcases
🖼️ Display cabinets for showcasing crafts and games
🎲 Any other useful bits for a creative, calm, and comfy activity space!

If you have anything you’d like to donate or know someone who might, please get in touch or drop items off at our reception. Every contribution will make a huge difference to our residents’ daily lives. 💬

🎄✨ Make This Christmas Special at Milbanke Care Home! ✨🎄

This year, we’re aiming to create a Christmas to remember for our wonderful residents at Milbanke Care Home! To help us spread some holiday cheer, we’re reaching out to our community to ask if anyone has any Christmas decorations they’d like to donate.

We’d love to receive:
🎅 Christmas baubles
🎁 String lights (indoor and outdoor)
🎄 Wreaths or garlands
❄️ Ornaments and festive figurines
🤶

Please note: Unfortunately, we’re unable to accept tinsel or foil decorations due to the IPV policies set out by Lancashire County Council.

If you have decorations you no longer need and would like to contribute, please message us or drop them off at Milbanke Care Home. Your generosity will help us make this holiday season truly magical for our residents.
