✨Fulwood Hall Hospital is delighted to introduce Hip & Knee Surgeon, Mr George McLauchlan ✨
Mr McLauchlan is a highly experienced orthopaedic surgeon specialising in primary and revision hip and knee replacement surgery. Over a 25 year consultant career, he has completed more than 8,500 procedures, combining surgical expertise with a compassionate, patient centred approach. He offers both partial and total knee replacement and is among the very few surgeons providing hip resurfacing for younger, active patients.
Away from the operating theatre, Mr McLauchlan is a season ticket holder at Preston North End and an avid cyclist. A personal highlight was completing Land’s End to John O’Groats in just nine days in 2024.
He has also raised over £20,000 for a range of charities in recent years—thanks in large part to the generous support of his patients.
