Today we held a small community health and wellbeing session alongside colleagues from Citizens Advice Preston & District

The session took place on Monday 9th March (9:30am–12pm) at Central Methodist Church on Lune Street (PR1 2NL), where we offered free blood pressure checks and general health advice for members of the local community.

The focus was simple: making it easier for people to access both health support and practical advice in one place.

Community pharmacy, optometry and advice services often see the same people at different points in their journey. When those access points connect more clearly, prevention and early support become much easier.

Thank you to the Citizens Advice team for working alongside us, and to Central Methodist Church for kindly allowing us to use the premises to support the local community.
