We had such a lovely time celebrating Mother’s Day at our Stay & Play sessions!A huge thank you to all the wonderful mummies and special people who joined us to share such a special time with the children. Your smiles, laughter and participation made the morning truly memorable. 💗

The children loved showing you around, playing together and taking part in all the lovely activities.

A big thank you to our amazing staff team as well for creating such exciting and thoughtful setups that made the session so enjoyable for everyone.

Your hard work and creativity helped make the day extra special. 🌷

🦖 Dinosaurs 🦖

Today we created an exciting dinosaur world in our tuff tray messy play area! 🤩 The children explored a variety of different materials and textures, including sand, conflakes, grass, and natural resources to build a prehistoric landscape.

They enjoyed touching, scooping, pouring, and moving the materials around, fully engaging their senses as they created their own dinosaur habitats. We looked at the different dinosaurs together and tried to name them, talking about their sizes, features, and what they might eat. The children showed great curiosity as they compared the dinosaurs and discussed which ones were big, small, had long necks, or sharp teeth. 🦷

This activity supported sensory exploration, imaginative play, language development, and encouraged the children to work together as they built and shared ideas in their dinosaur world 🌍

🏖️ Let’s go to the beach 🏖️

This morning in our baby room we have brought the beach, indoors!! ☀️ Transforming the space with sand that covered the floor, giving our babies the freedom to crawl, scoop, pat, and explore without the limits of a tray with. The different buckets and spades sparked imaginative discovery and shared play. 💕🏖️

The open beach-style set up encouraged movement, confidence, and collaboration, creating a calm atmosphere where our little ones could fully immerse themselves in a seaside experience — all from the comfort of their familiar room! Aswell as this we also incorporated a water tuff tray to act as the sea, with blue coloured water play using the sea creatures sponges! 🤩 We had lots of fun! 🤩

What a wonderful and busy end to our term for our Preschool Tudors ! 🌈✨

This week has been full of fun, creativity, and celebration!

💦Water Play Fun 💦- Our Tudors loved exploring with water, pouring, splashing, and experimenting while developing their fine motor skills and teamwork.

🌸 Flower Potions 🌸– Our little learners became nature scientists, mixing beautiful flower potions using petals, leaves, and water. There was lots of imaginative storytelling and wonderful descriptive language shared.

✍️ Writing Time ✍️ – We’ve been practising our mark making and early writing skills, working so hard to form letters and write our names. We are so proud of everyone’s progress!

💌 Valentine’s Cards – The children enjoyed creating thoughtful Valentine’s cards for special people in their lives, spreading kindness and love.

🧺 Paddington’s Picnic🧺 – Inspired by our story of the week, Paddington Bear, we had our very own picnic! Marmalade sandwiches were a big topic of discussion, and the children loved bringing the story to life through role play.

🎬 Movie Day 🎥 – A cosy treat to celebrate the end of term! The children relaxed together and enjoyed a special movie time with their friends.

🎉 Party Day 🥳- We also celebrated our end of term and a special birthday with a big party day ! There was music, dancing, games, and lots of smiles all around.

What an amazing term it has been! We are so proud of all the children and how much they have grown. Thank you for your continued support — we can’t wait to see everyone next term! 💛

💕Valentines Tuff Tray 💕

Our babies explored a Valentine’s themed water tuff tray. 💕They showed great curiosity and engagement throughout the activity. Some of our older babies were fascinated by the coloured water, watching it move and change as they played, while others were particularly interested in the craft materials visible beneath the water.

We used spoons, different sized jugs, and plastic cups to scoop and pour the water, carefully transferring it into the large bowl in the centre. This activity supported their sensory exploration, hand-eye coordination, and early understanding of cause and effect as they experimented with filling, pouring, and emptying the containers !
