In 2019, Jim weighed 169kg.
He started his journey on his own, losing a good amount of weight through diet before we began working together in October 2019. And since then… it hasn’t been smooth sailing.
There have been highs and lows. Periods of great momentum and times where progress slowed and regressed. Just like any real transformation journey.
But something changed.
Since becoming a founding member at Elevate last March, Jim has found something that makes all the difference: consistency.
No extreme plan.
Just eating less, moving more and showing up again and again.
Since January especially, Jim has dialled in. Training almost every day, putting in the work, trusting the process.
And the results speak for themselves:
10kg lost since Christmas.
Stronger. Fitter. Healthier. Happier.
Now sitting at 129kg.
But the most important thing?
He genuinely feels the best he ever has.
Jim now trains across the board at Elevate:
• Open Gym 5x per week
• 1:1 coaching with (and programming)
• 1-2 classes each week
And he’s making the most of every single session.
In Jim’s own words, it’s not just the programming that’s made the difference; it’s the coaching team, the members and the environment. He’s fully embraced the community here.
Along the way he’s also become a great friend, we’ve shared a few well-earned pints (especially at Christmas 🍻), and he’s taken on the unofficial role of Elevate’s number one maintenance man — which is practically a full-time job 😂
