Lancashire Local Offer

Lancashire Local Offer Lancashire's official Local Offer page from the County Council. Where necessary we will remove these posts.

The Lancashire Local Offer is a free and impartial service provided by Lancashire County Council. We provide information about services across the county for families of children with special educational needs and/or a disability (SEND), covering areas including health and social care, education, early years, finance, transport, leisure activities and support groups. We will not engage with anyone who posts disruptive, offensive or abusive posts, including posts that contain swearing or libellous statements. Any users who we feel are repeatedly misusing our channels will be blocked and reported.

Trying something new can feel overwhelming for both parents and children 💛 That’s why we’ve created a clear, supportive transition process to help every child feel confident joining our camps.

✨ Initial chat with parents (phone or in person)
📘 Transition booklets so children know what to expect
📄 Detailed parent information packs

But we wanted to do even more…
We’re proud to be working with Lancashire County Council to deliver our Meet the Provider sessions 🤝

These relaxed sessions give families the chance to explore the environment together before attending a full camp. The space is set up just like a normal session, so children can get familiar with the layout, activities and routine 🎨🧩

We also have extra staff on hand purely to support you — answering questions and helping everyone feel at ease 😊
A calm, welcoming way to build confidence, reduce anxiety and make sure you and your child feel ready 💫

Thanks to Lancashire Council for letting us do this!

Supporting individuals with FASD (Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder) is all about understanding how their brains process the world and helping them feel safe, calm, and connected. Regulation strategies—like play, movement, time in nature, and predictable routines—can make a big difference in reducing stress and building confidence. With the right support and co-regulation from caring adults, individuals with FASD can thrive, develop their strengths, and feel more in control of their emotions and daily experiences.

Update on Max Cards for Break Time members:

Break Time members who request a Max Card will usually receive this within 28 days, however due to a supplier issue there has been a short delay in delivery of cards to our office. We hope that this issue will be resolved very quickly.

If you have recently requested a Max Card, please bear with us as it may take a little longer than usual to arrive.
