Join us at our Supported Internship Open Event at Preston College

Our Supported Internship programmes are designed for young people aged 18 to 24 with an EHCP who are finishing education and preparing to move into paid work.

This is a supported pathway into real workplaces, helping interns build confidence, develop employability skills and progress into jobs.

On the evening you can:
✔ Meet our friendly team
✔ Hear from current interns
✔ Learn about placements with Lancashire County Council, Lancashire Police and a range of local employers
✔ Join our short presentation at 5.30pm to learn how the programme works
✔ Ask questions and explore your options

It’s relaxed, welcoming and a great chance to see if this could be the right next step for you or someone you support 💙

If your young people love fresh air, adventure, and trying new things in the great outdoors, this is the perfect day for them while giving you a chance for some me time.

💜 It is a great way to meet other parents and carers - you can ask experienced parents for practical advice, emotional support and reassurance, and share your own experience of raising a neurodivergent child. ❤️

🩵 Connecting with other parents and carers facing similar challenges can be comforting and alleviate feelings of isolation and loneliness and will give you opportunities to meet and socialise with other neurodivergent families! 💚

We are excited to announce our new group for young people at Morecambe Library who are currently not attending school or home educated (secondary school age only). Please get in touch if you are interested. Youth workers Charlie and Ian will provide a range of games and activities to support the group to get to know each other, build confidence and look at tackling any barriers they may have. Plus, as always, there will be snacks!
First session will be Wednesday 4th February.
