A Reminder of Love

The love of a mother is irreplaceable and everlasting.

Even after they have passed on, the memories of their gentle spirit and devoted care remain in our hearts.

The Bible reminds us of the love that never fades. It teaches us to honor the memory of our mothers by continuing to love and support one another as they did for us.

We can keep their legacy alive by sharing their love and wisdom with others.

Following the distressing news that the Police are conducting enquiries at Martin’s the funeral directors, we would like to reassure the public that the majority of funeral directors are caring and trustworthy professionals.

Like many others we belong to the NAFD (National Association of Funeral Directors) and we abide to the UK Funeral Director Code.
We were recently inspected by the NAFD in February and by both Lancashire Coroners service and our local environmental health officers.

The problem is that belonging to a governing body is voluntary and not compulsory. We believe that statutory regulation should be mandatory and enforced, as it is in Scotland.

Our thoughts go out to Martin’s clients and the families of those whose loved ones are currently at their premises. We are now helping some of those families to make alternative arrangements and endeavouring to bring their loved ones into our care.
