Welcome to Adele’s Wish, please take a min to find out the who’s, what’s, where’s and why’s - it’s important right?
3 years ago, we, like thousands of others across the globe were dealt the blow of cancer.
Lung cancer to be precise.
Had we heard of it? Of course! Did we know much about it? Not at all.
⭐️⭐️⭐️ WHO? ⭐️⭐️⭐️
Adele faced her battle with remarkable resilience, determination and respect for her loved ones. Never did we hear her starting to give up the fight, not once! She battled like the Queen she was right until the end, and sadly, succumbed to the most awful disease we’ve ever encountered.
The journey wasn’t all tough, tears and despair. We holidayed, spent precious time together and Adele put the world to rights on a daily basis! 😅 She was hilarious, witty, straight talking and incredibly caring about others. She was inspiring. Each day she would give me a shopping list, and each day she would be handing out gifts to the nurses and other patients in hospital. It gave her pure joy!
⭐️⭐️⭐️WHY? ⭐️⭐️⭐️
However, during the treatment stage and palliative care phase, we all noticed how many people were facing this disease ALONE! It was heartbreaking to witness.
That sadness we felt once we knew how many were facing this alone, and those whom didn’t want to burden their families with how they were feeling in order to protect them, the sadness has never gone away.
Therefore, in memory of Adele and her love of gifting and supporting others, we decided to create a charity to do just that.

So here we are, supporting people through their journey, their families, friends, those who have lost someone, ANYONE affected by cancer can access our support across Lancashire (further afield can only be digital support at present)

Our Support Offer:
• Befriending service
• accompanying patients to treatment/appointments (we cannot offer medical advice)
• 1:1 support digitally and face to face
• peer support groups
• friendly meet ups for coffee/cake and a chat
• family-friendly walks
And much more!
We are selling T-shirts and hoodies as a way of generating a very small profit which is then used to fund our support offer, including our ‘brighten the load’ hampers that we give out.
