Caring for our Fish 🐟 ❤️

Our ladies and gents love our little fish tank! From watching the fish swim around to helping care and clean their tank, they bring a sense of pride and happiness to our residents 🥰

This week, our marvellous Ray was helping WISH Activity Team Member Jessica in looking after them whilst watching them swim around together ❤️

2025 Memorial Art 💖👍

Before we welcomed in the New Year, our WISH Activity Team had the wonderful idea to get all our ladies and gents in a memorial art project. With a dab of paint and just their thumbs, together our residents crafted a heart painting to commemorate 2025 ✨

Such a wonderful idea to bring everyone together and make something beautiful 🥰

🎄 Christmas Day ❤️

What a wonderful day we had on Christmas Day! Our home was filled with our lovely families, friends and festive cheer to celebrate this special day 🥰

As always, our fab Kitchen Team catered for our families who wished to spend their day with their loved ones and it is always such a honour to do so ❤️

We hope you all had a fabulous Christmas and a great New Year ✨

Christmas Eve Delights 🎄🧑‍🎄

We had such a wonderful day on Christmas Eve with thanks to the always wonderful Anna a.k.a Golden Age Songbird ❤️

Adorned in her beautifully festive outfit and singing all our favourite Christmas songs, our ladies, gents and staff had a lovely afternoon getting into the Christmas spirit together 🎄✨

Our Busy Run Up To Christmas! 🎄🥰

The few days before Christmas we had a blast with plenty of visitors - big and small - from the community, company and beyond, in addition to lots of festive activities too ❤️

We had cute little carol singers from St Richard’s Primary School, lovely students from Our Lady’s Queen of Peace High School bringing care packages and singing carols. The amazing Stocks Hall Homecare team came to see our ladies and gents to spread some Christmas cheer all dressed up 🥰

In between the hustle and bustle we relaxed with some Christmas colouring… and this was all before our events on Christmas Eve and a Christmas Day - how wonderful ✨

Christmas Parties 🎉 🎅🥳

It’s not officially Christmas until you have had or attended a traditional Christmas party and here at Stocks Hall Skelmersdale, it’s no different!

The wonderful JLH Productions came and sang their amazing Christmas set list to both our Lowerstocks and Woodlands units. It was a special sight to see so many up and dancing along together ❤️

Successful Christmas Fayre 🎄⭐️

We had a very successful Christmas Fayre at the weekend! Staff, families and residents all came down to support us and enjoyed lots going on. We had a cake stall, tombola, raffle, Christmas tree decoration crafting, santas grotto and pianist Dave Marr also joined us 🥰

We raised a fantastic £459! Thank you to everyone who supported our event. All the money raised will go towards more enriching activities and fun days out together ❤️

Wonderful Week of Festivities 🎄⭐️

What a wonderful time we had last week getting up to lots of festive fun 🤩

Our ladies and gents got crafty making their own Christmas cards, we played Christmas bingo, threw snowballs with our new snowman game, enjoyed our much loved Pet Therapy and pampering ourselves for the big day 💖

We also enjoyed a visit from St Richards Primary school who came to sing lots of lovely Christmas Carols 🥰👏
