🎂 Double Birthday Celebrations 🎂

This week we have celebrated two birthdays! Yesterday we had the pleasure of celebrating the wonderful Carole’s birthday with a spectacular birthday cake made by our kitchen team. Today, we celebrated our beloved Jennie’s birthday with another fantastic cake from our kitchen staff 🥳

We hope you both had the most special day, ladies 🎂🥰

🌟 We are recruiting! 🌟 We are looking for new faces to join our team of dedicated Care Assistants on days, a WISH Activity Team Member (part time) and a Domestic Assistant. Our carer roles require no previous experience as we provide full training, both online and classroom, in addition to shadowing our experienced staff to help you on your way. We are catching up with employee of the month award and we want to celebrate our hard working staff over the last few months. So, picking up from May, we are so pleased to announce our fabulous Domestic Assistant, Steph as our employee of the month for May! 🏆

Designing and Building A Game! 🔴🟢🔵

Last week, our WISH Activity Team members Sheereen and Jess designed and made a game with our ladies and gents to help with coordination and concentration. Together they brainstormed, made and painted the board in the morning so it was ready to play by the afternoon!

It was a simple game to allow all our ladies and gents a go and give a hand in making it too - a lovely activity for all 🥰

💚 MacMillan Coffee Morning 💚

On Friday, our staff organised a successful coffee morning for the charity, MacMillan and we had a wonderful turn out!

WISH Activity Team Lead Sheereen said, “We had a successful morning raising just over £60. Cakes were made by the amazing Kitchen Team and Ruth one of our nurses. We enjoyed a quiz and learnt lots of new coffee knowledge. A lovely morning all round!” 💚

We have been keeping fit this week with WISH Activity Team members Sheereen and Jessica! Our ladies and gents were given pom poms, Sheereen played the music and lead everyone in some fun chair exercises 🥰

Pet Therapy with Luna & Sparkle 🌙✨

It was everyone’s favourite day of the activity calendar this week when WISH Activity Team Lead Sheereen brought in her lovely pups, Luna & Sparkle!

Our ladies and gents love the gentle cuddles and kisses from the dynamic doggie duo, they bring so much joy to the home every time they visit 🥰

🎂 Happy Birthday Ruby 🎂

On Friday, we celebrated our amazing Ruby’s 96th birthday! Our ladies, gents, staff and visitors all sang her a ‘Happy Birthday’, whilst being presented with a birthday cake fit for a Queen made by our wonderful Kitchen Team ⭐️

We had a lovely afternoon this week, dancing together ‘on the beach’! With the weather being rather wet and miserable, we had plenty of fun indoors with the magic of our OM Interactive projector 🏖️🕺💃❤️
