Strongwoman prep isn’t just about lifting heavier.

It’s about fixing what’s trying to hold you back.

Avril came in 2 weeks out from competition with ongoing knee pain and visible knee valgus under load.

We addressed:

• Sartorius trigger points contributing to medial knee stress
• Soleus restriction affecting ankle control and force transfer
• Hamstring tightness limiting posterior chain efficiency
• Soft tissue restriction using targeted trigger work and IASTM

When the knee collapses inward, it’s rarely “just the knee.”

It’s load management, tissue quality, and muscle imbalance.

Right arm. Trapped nerve. It started affecting how I work.

Targeted treatment. Decompression. Dry needling. Cupping. Scraping (IASTM). Consistency.

And yes — let’s talk about the redness.

🔴The red marks, dots and bruising are a normal vascular response.
☕Cupping creates decompression, drawing blood into the area.
🗡️Scraping creates controlled mechanical stimulation.
What you’re seeing: • Increased circulation
• Capillary dilation
• Small petechiae (tiny surface blood vessels responding to pressure)
• Mild superficial bruising

It is not toxins leaving the body.

It is not adhesions rising to the surface.

It’s the body responding to stimulus and beginning a repair process.

For most healthy people, this is completely normal and settles within a few days.
It should feel tender — not alarming.

Therapists need treatment too.

Pain doesn’t get a free pass just because you understand anatomy.

If your symptoms are affecting your work, training or sleep — stop ignoring it. Treat the root.
